UGH. Me too! I have bred eight cycles on four mares and have two confirmed. Those two were one first and one second cycle, so easy ones 
The other two…not cooperating! And those were the ones I thought I would get right away. Crazy season!

Going to give EM Donnabella (Donnerschlag/Baryshnikov) a try with fresh, Rubignon. Three trys with frozen, two Christ and one Rascalino and nothing.

She’ll be checked at 16 days; or June 30th!
I am so thrilled/excited to announce that I too am doing the baby dance for 2 weeks! We bred my 18yr old Breeding Stock paint eventer to A Fine Romance yesterday, and when we checked her this morning, she had ovulated!!! YAY I get to see if there is a black spot floating around on the 4th of july. I am crossing my fingers and toes!

Mine was confirmed last week. She was bred Memorial Day. So we are at 20 days. It was a double ovulation and the vet only found one–he wants to see her again at the end of the month to make sure there was not a baby-boo hiding…
How often during the 1st trimester do you guys have your mares checked? What is the percentage chance of them losing a 30 day confirmed embryo?

Bred a mare today to Bretagne VDL owned by Spy Coast Farm. So two weeks to go there.
Bred a Carolus I mare to Catoki over the weekend. It’s going to be the looongest 12 days…
Don’t want to jinx myself, because its still early, but I had three positive checks today. Two @ 15 days and one at 12.
Hopefully we’ll have babies by Jupiter, Farscape and Parco next year!

Well, I got the good news today that the outside mare is 17 days pregnant to my stallion. It was his first breeding and now his first confirmed pregnancy!! So I am very excited for that — now I have to wait a couple more days to ultrasound my own mare… Fingers crossed!!

We had a great vet check yesterday, too. 
Rexana is still in foal to Cathalido and Caritas (Validation) and Valeta (Silver Lining) were both checked in foal.
We bred our second mare over the weekend. Legacy (Salut) was rebred to Don Alfredo. I like this year’s colt so much I wanted to try again for a keeper filly…here’s hoping!
Romancing Rio (Rio Grande) is back at the clinic for a second try with Jupiter…keeping our fingers crossed she settles this time!
My last mare bred turned up empty (Likotus - Rubinstein I / Sendbote breeding), so out of 7 breedings (5 mares bred multiple times), I ave 2 coming next year. After this year’s disasters, I am actually relieved not to have more coming.

Tanzdiva bred to Ballzauber this afternoon. She’d ovulated BOTH of her follicles by the time the semen arrived. Diva never does anything by halves and is determined to send her attending vet into an early grave.
On a happier note, SPS Pueppi (Prince Thatch xx/ Argentan) bred to Don Schufro last weekend in Germany and ovulated two follicles. Fingers crossed.

EM Academy Award (Anamour - Graf Landau - Winterkoenig) was just bred to Furstenball.
