“Daisy cutter” is a term to describe a very good mover in the Hunter world. They have hardly any knee action OR, their feet sweep across the ground so effortlessly that it looks like they could cut the tops off of daisies with their toes.

Or, very “bad” movement in the Arab world (we like Action :yes:) Not bad as in lame mind you, just bad as in undesireable, not show quality, not breed standard.

ET can’t tell left from right d/t dyslexia (thank goodness for the L on the left hand) I have “this” side and “that” side when I’m thinking of myself. Funnily enough I get distal, dorsal, plantar, palmar, medial, lateral, oblique etc. Just not left or right! ha ha ha.

Chinks are those chap-like leather things, but they only come down a little past knee, and with lots of fringe. pretty sure.

I always get confused between all those HYPP EPSM etc.

Bridles

There are many of you saying you can’t put a bridle together…

Back when I was a wee lass, our pony camp always had us take apart and put back together a bridle, blindfolded. Whoever did it fastest got a Hershey bar.

It was an awesome teaching tool, because now I can put together any bridle, any time, without thinking about it.

Now you ladies over the age of 21 could do the same thing as a drinking game. Whoever puts the bridle together fastest (blindfolded) gets a glass of Cabernet. Or something. I guarantee you won’t have any more problems with bridles.

I’ll let you in on a little secret as someone who spent her summer jobs as a riding camp counsellor: this bridle game is not just an awesome teaching tool, it’s also a guaranteed way to buy the staff at least an hour off while the kids struggle lol
