Thoroughbred Sport Horses aka Churchill Hunt Club aka many other names

here is a very simple link that can be found via goggle regarding some of their “happenings”

I do not care how good of a rider you are. If you time and time again misrepresent yourself (being asked to join the Canadian Olympics team…despite being an American), your horses (taking your horses to Wellington to show when you are not even able to show them at the Kentucky Horse Park), defraud people out of money with fraudulent companies (ie. their equine massage company), failure to pay your rent and get kicked off of multiple properties (in Woodford and most recently the property in Georgetown), do not maintain your horses (if you can not adequately feed and take care of the horses you have then do not get more even if they are free),make up fake names in order to leave positive reviews, oh and lastly using other peoples pictures riding and simply taking pictures off Google and passing them off as your own, than yes they deserve to be exposed every time they come up with a new way to try and dupe people. They are simply trying to make a buck. They do not rescue theses horse they get them with the hope of getting a couple thousand dollars and then turn around and do the same thing again. They are simply pulling at the heartstrings of people who have not come into contact with them or are unaware of their shady dealings.

No one is denying they get nice horses in but they are in Lexington and these horses are readily available to anyone in the area who wants a project. As noted above, the Lattanzio’s are not getting these horses in to rescue them and find them nice homes. This is not New Vocations. They are getting these horses straight out of the race barns/breeding farms, throwing a few rides on them and trying to make a quick buck. They are a dealer and could care less where their horses end up

First ride off the track and first jump all in one day… Sounds LEGIT![/QUOTE]

It could be, they are not all nuts you know and some trainers put more of a handle on them then go and go faster. But he’s is in exceptionally good weight (actually, it’s fat) for right off the track. Suspect it’s a first ride off a let down under a good rider. Which is fine. Nobody has questioned any riding ability in any of the videos over the years.

But, what is a Throughbred Sport Hordes? Must be important since its in bold face red type. Envisioning the Mongol hordes behind Gengis Khan here…

Did anybody ever figure out what Eclipse Award they were nominated for as stated on their website last winter?

I imagine not a whole lot of energy went towards finding that out. It was pretty obvious it was another fabrication on their part!

Sport Hordes lol! As often as typos etc. are pointed out you would think they would learn to perhaps spell check

eventr5218, sent you a PM.

Answered it.
Oh and just to point out incase others are not aware of the habitual and blatant lies go to their contact page. They say they have a Corpotate Office on Alexandria Drive. No they do not lol! I work right in that area and it does not exist surprise surprise
Their isn’t even an office building that looks similar to the one they got off the internet and used lol.
And are they a cooperation or are they an LLC?

And now they have pages for individual horses.
I repeat if you can not afford the horses you already have do not get more!
Do we really believe this money even goes towards the horses!

Unbelievable. “Please pay for the surgery to have me fixed so the folks who have me now can sell me on.” :frowning:

And 3 people have promised money!

Thank you for writing this, I too bought a horse from them, have not got him home yet, expected first week of Sept. I too appreciate OTTB’s, and have a few that I love dearly. It is nice that you took the time to correct these nasty posts.

Now they have a Facebook page called Thoroughbred Sport Horse Foundation but the link takes you directly to the Thoroughbred Sport Horse website
And Sandra Lattanzio gave it 5* on their reviews lol

Is he there yet? Do you have other OTTBs ir just the imported Hanoverian mare? If you want to defend these people, post a link to a current picture if the horse you got there, preferably one showing current under saddle work in the new home. So far no defender has ever done that.

Because they have all been Sandra or her equally crazy small circle of friends!

Oh, say it ain’t so…least they are consistent, bumping the “nasty posts” back to page one every 8-12 weeks and refreshing their position on Goggle search results.

Yes and sometimes they do it when it’s a boring day at work and I need a little entertaining

You all crack me up. I will say, now don’t count me in as a fan, as I am not!!! I wouldn’t buy from there. But I do know someone who has, and the girl that bought him ADORES her horse. Though his is not as tall as advertised, he’s turned into a good horse for her. I watched them show last weekend where they did the 2’6" jumpers for the first time. They did well. I even video’do for them so they could see the progress. Maybe she was a lucky buyer.

No one is denying that nice horses end up in their hands. [edit] The lies just listed on their website are numerous.

if anyone wants some pure entertainment here is a video of their warmblood stallion “jumping for the first time”… AKA getting the tar beaten out of him for no reason.

Im glad some riders have received nice horses from them but I would never patronize withtheir known history. good luck

No, I agree, snaffle1987. If I had known back then about this, I would have suggested they steer clear. She got lucky. And yeah, it’s not the horses’ faults.

Yes all the horses they have deserve wonderful homes far far away from them. [edit] Also if they have to go on the internet begging for money to take care of these horses maybe they should quit getting new ones and properly feed and care for the ones they have currently. Basically they are just horse traders!
I remember Sandra posting on one of the many thread how they had been approached by many people interested in breeding to their stallion…so far I have not run into one horse by him. Also judging by the one time she had him at the Horse Park schooling I don’t imagine anyone is beating down the door.
