Thoughts on "The Traveling Horse Witch?"

Hey now, my horse and I are already there (in our tiny minds) without half the whack stuff!

Thinks of horse as family - check!
Sought animal communicator in moment of desperation - check! (NO! It did not help! lol)
Lovely piaffe (when she bloody feels like it) - check!
Has good neck that was non-existent when purchased (no thanks to any whacky techniques) - check!

We’re good. See y’all in Paris! :joy:

To go with my above list of the things we have that are getting me and my completely unknown 17yo mare to Paris where I mentioned neck - yeah, they are truly convinced that the ridiculous ‘work’ they do puts necks on horses and has nothing to do with the fact that horses that stand around getting obese tend to develop necks that, on the surface, look impressive :frowning: I actually find it very sad because people are getting duped, but also for the health of the horses. I know one who is 100% obese but described as having a “stallion neck.” No, the creature is obese and in danger of metabolic troubles down the road.

My questions are what did this horse’s neck look like three or four years ago before her technique was mainstream? What do the other horses in the competition, who don’t do BTMM, necks look like?

And the other side of the coin, there’s a classical dressage group that has been very critical of his ride for days.

I’ll just stay here on COTH were reasonable people hang out lol!

Is this Celestes original post? Or from the owner?

Oh wait, I see that the owners included her in thank yous above.

Today we have more dead horses with flowers in their mouths. Not TTHW’s, but her mate’s.

At this point they are just fetishising grief, and dressing carcasses up for Instagram likes. Gross. Even in death, you gotta squeeze out one last bit of content out of a dead horse.

Remember when Celeste publicly shamed someone for euthanizing a horses at their vets recommendation, after the owner had ONE clinic with Celeste?

And Celeste dragged the breeder of Dragon through the mud, and ended up euthanizing him herself not too long after?

It seems like her “magic” method doesn’t work on her own horses, most of them seem to have issues and die fairly young.

This particular horse was a little over a year old, and his sire died young as well…

Of course horses die young, all the time but they do seem to loose a lot of young horses in pretty quick secession.

What! Really? A yearling?

Yes. It was those statements that really were the nail on the coffin for me regarding my thoughts. My original post was absolutely curious and even interested at first.

BTW, Julio’s horse, Goldie (aka Jewels Goldstrike) gets the beautiful “healthy” neck from the sire of his dam - Scandic. Known for stamping a great neck connection on his offspring.

Scandic

Goldie’s sireline is from Jazz who is also known for stamping his neck connection and shoulder.

I thought it was genetics and talent (and ample cash) that wins medals, but really it’s Celeste’s magikal frou-frou touch.

Yeah, that horse was a '22 baby.
And the sire of that yearling, which she bred, died in his teens.

Their track record for healthy, functional horses is…not great.

And again today :face_vomiting::face_vomiting::face_vomiting: weird that none of her circle can keep animals alive? And feels the need to stage their grief for social media cred?

A new dead horse, with flowers in their mouth is on her feed but this time with a toddler posed next to the dead horse…

Truly no shame.

Oh that will be a lovely memory for the toddler to look back on one day, say in their teenage years, won’t it?

I just…

Is this supposed to be some sort of profound expression of the juxtaposition of youthful innocence confronting the burdensome reality of death?

Honestly, I doubt that group could comprehend the concept. It’s more like grief porn.

Or as an adult in therapy.

Precisely.

I am utterly disgusted. TTHW deigned to attend a week of Manolo Mendez clinic. She EXPRESSLY forbade mention or posts about him in her Masterclass. Also anything by Gerd Heuschmann. Both of these TRUE masters poo pooed the term “thoracic sling” as being a “catchphrase.” That it ignored the entire abdominal chain and the back of the horse. But there she is. Smiling from her audit chair. I am certain he was gracious but there was a snake in the midst of such a fabulous clinic. I want to throw up. I guarantee she will appropriate his teachings for herself. She is a scourge. As are her “partners.”

wow interesting that she forbade mention of him in her class then went to the clinic to audit. she posted photos, he looked quite smitten with her. really just reminds me of how easy it is to get sucked in. maybe she learned something.

I can only say she gave a few people the frissons. And not in a good way.

Because of her interventions?
