Tigger is gone

I had to put down Tigger, my lovely 4 yo chestnut OTTB, yesterday due to complications from colic. He had a tear in his omentum, and a section of small intestine became entrapped and strangulated. Medically, surgery was not an option.

I am absolutely devastated by his loss.

Oh, no! What terrible news, especially with a horse so young. I wish there were something we all could collectively say or do to bring him back to you. But know that you did the right thing for him, which is the greatest gift anyone can give.

He was doing so well with you. He was courageous and kind, willing to do whatever you wanted. He was smart, too.
