Up until mid to late 90s, a horse had to have the appropriate color and be either TB, QH or TB/QH descent. 1/2 TB would never have been acceptable unless the other half was QH. These days, they have to have the color (for full registry) and at least one Paint parent with the others acceptable as TB or QH or TB/QH.
