I absolutely love watching her ride. Great win for team USA .
Can this be viewed online anywhere?
Clip My Horse has it but you have to be a CMH subscriber.
Here is a clip from youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BaVC3Is0a4s
Thanks. Shoot. I am a USEF member but not CMH. Thanks for the link.
Eta - great video, I just watched it. Thanks, again.
Youtube link has all 2nd round rides from the U.S. team.
I don’t pay for CMH either, though it would be nice to watch all of the Aachen show…
Thanks to Lillie for providing yet another example that people can hold up when people are bemoaning the future of the sport and saying that kids these days can’t ride and back in the day blah blah blah. Another day, another beautiful ride, and so calm under pressure.
The kids are all right
The USEF press release says that Lillie was one of only 5 to jump double clear. I see that COTH has corrected that in the article now.
You’re so right, the naysayers don’t have a leg to stand on. Just look at Mimi Gochman, J.J. Torono and all the other youngsters coming up through the ranks.
Lillie just won the young horse championship on her fabulous 8 y/o stallion, too.
The US is having a great Aachen show. In addition to winning the Nations Cup, McLain, Laura, Kent, and Lillie have each won individual classes.

Dying here. COME ON LAURA
The commentator mentioned several times there was a $100,000 bonus that would be split between anyone that jumped double clear in The Nations Cup.
So. Close! What a class. Amazing the quality of jumping on the grass in the rain. Everybody stay away from Kent right now
The American team of eventers also finished in second place, I believe.
Lillie was the 2nd highest placed showjumper after Ben Maher!
Well done Lillie!
In other “kids these days” news, Mckayla Langmeier posted the only double clear to win the SunLife Derby at Spruce Meadows today. Nice to see that they have more or less re-created the bank by bolstering the wee bank at the opposite corner. Her horse Pepita tackled it with panache, so nice to see.
thank you for adding the YT link I dont avidly follow jumping but that was a lovely set of rounds from everyone to start my day.
