LOL. You think he had his lawyers sue the insurance companies for his legal expenses and then when he gets a settlement is going to stiff his lawyers and go on a cruise? A cruise within the state of NJ?
Fact: jury found MB NGRI
Fact: essentially no forensic evidence was recovered
Fact: only witnesses are self admitted liars and drug users
Fact: jury was not allowed to hear a lot of information
Not fact: MB shot LK
Fact: JURIES GET IT WRONG. Despite their best effort, they can only decide based on info allowed to be considered.
Speculation: MB shot LK in self defense
Nobody knows the truth. Because the truth is locked away where it may never see the light of day. Truth as relayed by liars and druggies with an axe to grind doesn’t hold much water.
I am happy for MB that this years long nightmare is winding down. I imagine it will have lifetime repercussions for him. But with his support system and mental help, I wish him the best moving forward.
Yes his type of civil case was for REIMBURSEMENT of monies already paid and was not, to my memory, to COMPEL the insurance company to pay. Although it’s highly possible any settlement does include some element for future proceedings for money to cover future costs.
Just read the petition or whatever document started the case. It’s all laid out there.
It certainly looks as if you are trying mightily to get the thread shut down. However, no one is likely to assist you in that endeavor by telling you exactly what you should do with all your nonsensical posts.
I guess my gun theory still rankles. Interesting that my [“delusional”] belief that LK had access to the safe and took the gun after getting Michael and crew kicked out of the living space that was between her and the gun has done so much to give me credibility as someone who might know for a fact that Michael is getting to keep any money he got from his settlement because he’s already paid his lawyers.
FYI, most lawyers don’t really work on contingencies, they expect to get paid upfront.
The only attorneys you don’t pay up front are pro Bono attorneys or in some places, “ambulance chasers” aka personal injury attorneys. But, if they win, they get about 33% plus expenses.
Because it sort of sounds a little like a threat to me.
I think that would be nice. But personally, I’m actually hoping that the appeal is decided in his favor over the next few weeks, and all the Krol requirements are lifted, and he’s totally done with this stuff.
I believe his delusional disorder is in remission because ?5 ?6 - I’ve lost count - psychiatric professionals have testified to that effect for over a year now.
I think he can absolutely be released and allowed to return to Florida. That’s where his home and support network are. I think his full recovery will involve being close to his robust support network of loved ones and longtime friends and professional associates, and resuming his life’s work. Horses are very therapeutic after all. And soooooo many people in the Dressage community have expressed well wishes and relief over the recent news that he has made huge strides with his recovery, and is being released from Greystone.
