That happens with me sometimes in the airport. Lol.
Me too!! All. The. Time. LOL
Agnes Hahn the best so far at managing the track and the outside shoulder! Good for her.
Agnes was the first of eleven (11!!) riders in the class today trained by Andre Dignelli, according to the commentary.
Lovely ride from Christian Dominguez. Shame about the gate down - I’ll be curious to see what the judges do with it. That was easily the most flowing, connected course we’ve seen yet today. Really slick with the inside turn at the end too, but made it look like a natural fit with the rest of the course.
I think he rode 4 to the end easily the best so far, but looked like he lacked impulsion in the first 3 and it caught up to him at the gate. I will also be interested to see what comes of that at the end of the day. He has such a positive style of riding.
The choppy camera angles are difficult to watch. I wish they would back up a bit.
I think it’s much harder these days for someone with a rail down to end up near the top of the heap in a big class. It used to be less uncommon before the rule change to standardize it as a four point deduction from the score for each rail a few years back.
I concur.
I don’t mind the change in camera angles and I actually really appreciate the angles on 1-2 and the turn to 3. Great study tool because you have a great look at the track of the shoulder and the track of the haunch and you can see exactly the moment it goes wrong, if it does.
Well, Alexander Alston won fences 1-3… so there’s that.
Bummer!
Who’s doing the commentary? Sounds like Sissy Wickes and ??
Oliver Kennedy, I believe.
Sissy and Oliver Kennedy.
I love Sissy as a commentator.
That was unfortunate for Alex. Kudos to him for continuing through the line.
Now I hear Oliver and recognize the voice!
Workmanlike round from Paige Dempsey-Weiner.
Love the loose rein and big pat from Paige Dempsey-Weiner on the way out. Consistently workmanlike round.
Does Campbell Hudkins’ horse Touchdown remind anyone else a bit of Kaskade?
Big cheers from the Campbell Hudkins entourage after that round.
