Now that you mention it, I see the resemblance! Both in physical appearance and ring presence.
I want to see Clayton Farrell again with a few more years of experience under his belt.
And with a tie clip, preferably. I hate to nitpick like that, but it was distracting.
I was thinking it.
Apropos of nothing, I’ve seen two kids so far who seem to have outgrown their saddles and their boots over the course of the season, and I really don’t miss being a junior and doing that every year!
That was nice. Katie Smith.
Cats are the most qualified judges!
Glad to hear this. I was driving to work while she went, but her horse is from the barn where I work, and she is a super nice kid, so glad to hear they had a good trip.
Beautiful round from Skylar Wireman! That has to go to the top of the list, I imagine.
YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!
Yes it’s a complete sentence software let me celebrate!
Well done Skylar!
Sophia Gremley’s horse reminds me vaguely of Charisma.
I see it too.
Three good trips in a row! Nicely done juniors!
Baylee McKeever’s horse looks a bit wide eyed at everything in the ring but she got him around it.
Shame for Baylee McKeever with the rail, and maybe a touch busy with her hands. I thought it was a nice round otherwise.
Which is interesting because he’s a very seasoned horse.
I do like that horse. Goes around with his neck out like a big pony. Totally unproductive remark: I wish they’d put a different tail on him.
How old is Baylee McKeever? I keep waiting for her to have her big breakout and I feel like she’s still waiting a bit for that to happen, too.
I had that exact same thought - he’s been around but he just seemed… wide eyed and tail in the air. Horses!
She’s in her first year at Auburn, so I think this may be her last junior year.
