USEF Medal Final 2022

I love how the rider info on Show Management says Emma is >40.

Emma just did a very good job.

Atta girl, Sophie Whidden. She made that happen, and helped that horse come out so much better than he went in.

Under 40, so specific. :joy:

Caroline Olsen just put in a lovely round.

I put that at the top, even over Skylar.

I do too. I think it comes down to the judges’ angle on fence 3 as to whether she goes above or below. Lovely trip.

Oof, that last rail. Still gorgeous for Augusta.

Rail or not, I think Augusta was right up there. That was beautiful. I almost think the crowd was to blame for that.

Has there been an above average amount of rails today for a medal final or just me? It makes me wonder about the jumps.

I don’t think it was the crowd- she was getting a little long and low at the end and had rub, rub, rail. I would have her on the standby, but I think the rail was predictable.

I’m surprised by Sydney Raidy, I thought Kat Fuqua had a nicer round.

Natalie Wasson, another rider who deserves credit for nursing her horse along and making him more and more confident as they went. Good horsemanship!

Natalie Wasson would be my pick to ride my horses after how she guided that horse around.

Callista’s horse Diamond Day is so cute!

This might be how I ended up with a 2 year old OTTB a few years ago - bay with 4 white and a face marking is my favorite…

Tough luck for Carlee McCutcheon - I really liked her round (save the cross canter) and it looked like her horse just stumbled taking off for that fence. She recovered well.

Why do I recognize Ellie Dupuis’ horse and why is it so cute

I unfortunately have a lot of things I need to get done today, but I very much want to at least watch the second round and test.

I’d ask if someone could ping me when we get to the second round, but I don’t think I’m connected with anyone here outside of the forum :frowning:

I think Ellie Ferrigno used to ride him
