Totally agree. I just really didn’t like her sitting trot.
Nooooo Grace
GRACE just broke my heart.
Aaand Zayna just won!
Zayna, Grace, Skylar, Eleanor IMO.
Wow. Zayna was the only one to execute the test smoothly and correctly. It’ll be interesting to see how the placings shake out.
Although Skylar/Eleanor could go either way, IMO.
Agreed.
I think it has to be
Zayna
Grace
Eleanor
Skylar I wanted her to win it
I put Skylar below Eleanor because of the halt… it looked unexecuted. Depends what Eleanor’s errors looked like from the judge’s angle.
Yeah, that’s why I decided I could see 3rd/4th being either way. Depends partially on what Eleanor’s Swedish looked like to the judges.
Looks like they may retest?
Oh, are we testing again?
I think you could. I think that was just sort of a muddle.
Whoa
I don’t think I like the possibility of a second test. The class is what it is. Judge what’s in front of you.
Sorry if it didn’t shake out the way you liked, but that’s how the class works.
Nope. I completely and entirely disagree with this.
Zayna and Grace will switch horses for the second test.
I would fall off and die at this point of the day. Thanks goodness I’m not riding and have just poured a glass of wine.
I don’t mind it. This is going to sound harsh, I think, but it’s how I feel when I’m in a class. I do not want to win by default. If I’m going to win the class I want to have outperformed my competitors. I don’t feel like that really happened here and I don’t think it’s unreasonable to ask these two to separate themselves. Now, I say that with the confidence that both of these riders will not totally fall apart and melt to the floor, and with the recognition that neither of these horses are going to be improved by jumping another jump today.
Yowza.
I’m not saying it has never happened before, but I have never seen such a thing.
I’d argue she DID outperform them by being the only one who actually did the test.
