@Roo I agree that Dianeās commentary is very educational and I like that she makes a point of having āeducation momentsā. I do like the mix of commentators today. Nice to have different perspectives.

Shame that Samantha Takacs and Cascadel werenāt quite on the same page. I really like that horse, although Iām a sucker for a bright bay with chrome.

I adore Hot Pants. Isnāt he 19 or 20 this year? I know heās a gentleman of a certain vintage. Hard trip this time of year with the climate change. I was happy to see she rode him at Regionals. Great horse.
I quite liked her trip on the chestnut horse.

Assuming I just looked at the right Hot Pants- you are right, he is a 1998 model. 
Kudos to everyone who has been a part of his care team for his whole entire life. That is remarkable.

YES. That would be so much fun! If you ever find yourself in Baltimore this time of year, come on by, thereās a seat on the couch and a stack of pancakes for you. We can both scare the cats clucking if the riders do not show a working pace in the hand gallop.
It is fun getting to watch this with this crowd of usual COTH suspects every year. My barn went up with some of our kids, but I stayed home because a) the long stirrup kids do not deserve to be around the level of intensity I bring to spectating medal finals and b) the conversation that we have on this board is so educational and I really enjoy getting to hang out with all of you.

I hope Amira Kettenahās horse Gossip SA is ok after that crash at USET last weekend. Sheās on a different horse this weekend and it looks like a new mount to her.

While simultaneously still being 29, of course. Naturally.
Since Iām leaving for a trip tomorrow, I guess I should use the drag and set break to maybe do some laundry, or something. And emotionally prepare my dog for the possibility that there might be a hand gallop and itās possible I will wake her up with my nonsense.
