USEF Outreach show fees

If you’re looking for local schooling shows, Springdown still does 4 a year in PV. There are several in the east bay, the Tri Valley series at Maddox Farm and I think Cerra Vista still holds them. Metro Horsemens Association has some too. Then South Bay Ranch down south has an English series, I think also run by one of the Horsemens Associations.
Further south is a new schooling series, here’s their link https://www.davinciequestrian.com/central-coast-show-series

More options than you think if you know where to look!

Lake WA Saddle Club. Sometimes the Hunter days sell out, the stalls always sell out. Your best bet is to sign up to volunteer if you want a chance at a stall. Jumper days are less hectic.

Lake WA Saddle Club English/western is offering open over fences schooling in the afternoon in ring 2 this year. It will start at ground poles and work its way up to 2’ - 2’6”. It’s on the token system, so you can go as often as you’d like. The show is on Saturday, but we’re opening the stabling up on Friday.

The dressage shows are on Sunday, so you can make a weekend of it!

The schedule is Ranch, western in the morning, with open trail in ring 2. Saddle seat and sporthorse type in the afternoon, with over fences in ring 2 in the afternoon. Bring the burritos as well and do in hand trail and halter!

I’ll be doing this, I double-checked I was getting FB notifications! Concerned about parking, I can’t do overnight (too many responsibilities on the home farm) and would rather just drive in, but looks like parking is limited?

Not for English / western. The shows tend to be pretty small. And English won’t start before 12noon.

THAT is the best part! Because do you know who has two thumbs and does not want to get up at the crack of dawn to recreate any more? This girl!

Sacramento Area H/J shows are well-attended by SF Bay area barns.

Look in particular at the River City events. They offer scholarships to help with show fees.

These shows look so fun! Alas, my barn pretty much only does rated shows. I’d be so much happier doing local stuff! I had a blast doing the Outreach days too last year at Monroe but now they don’t want to do those either.
