Very premature foal

Probably sell “we tried” merch. :rage:

I should rephrase my remark about Seven’s legs: all four legs are already broken. They only support him/work because of intensive, 24/7 veterinary intervention.

He does have amazing, genetically gifted muscling on his rump. Trying to analyze how his stifles and hip joints are doing with those straight rear legs has me puzzled. Heck, any of us who have dealt with arthritis in a hock, or hocks, understand how that impacts the rest of the horse’s body. Yes, horses can and do compensate but with Seven we are looking at 4 compromised legs. :disappointed:

But fear not, Seven was used as a Veterans Day screensaver.

I just threw up in my mouth. That’s a really gross way to add followers/email lists.

Oh dear lord.

There is a word for people like her, but at the moment it escapes me.

On topic for KVS but off-topic regarding Seven: anyone else following the debacle of her followers (“kulties”) descending en mass on the QH World Show and spooking one of her horses as he competed with their fangirly behaviour?

Haven’t seen any updates on here lately. Has that sweet baby finally been laid to rest?

I saw one 6 days ago. But I HIGHLY doubt that horse has been put down.

This is from 11/18. But most of the latest vids are just the vet answering questions

Wait, did a mass of “fans” get rowdy in the stands and spook some horses? Because… well that really sucks for everyone there who isn’t on the KVS gravy train.

I was wondering the same thing. Was it a pleasure class? Were her “fans” cheering her on as she loped past? Were other horses distracted, too? If so, I’m sure that won her some friends on the circuit.

Oh well. Let her be the victim of the online cult she manufactured.

Then again, perhaps KVS was merely pouting because she didn’t win first overall and needed an excuse. By the time you get to that level, your horse has seen and heard pretty much everything.

It was her horse’s first time showing. He’s been hauled around places but it was his first actually time horse showing.

Oh, then she should be thrilled with finishing second.

Who knows. I wouldn’t recognize her if I saw her and I don’t follow her on SM except to read what’s posted here. Maybe the entire incident is a giant nothing burger.

So, it sounds like she learned that he needs some more miles on random crowd uproar?

I would be very happy that my horse got second place at its very first show.

Is there a reason that second place is not a good thing in this specific situation?

I thought he looked pretty dang good! I saw a couple of the clips, he was slow/missed a couple changes in the pattern portion- just looked like a distracted baby. He won the other 2 portions- halter and pleasure.

I don’t follow much of her stuff besides what I occasionally see pop up on facebook or instagram. But I thought he was a pretty neat looking young stud and they moved him more forward than alot of those western horses go.

I had to go look. Yes, he moved out a bit more than the other WP horses, but they still look crippled.

Yeah not my style either but I suppose to each their own!
