Warning...my experience with Airdance Farm and Lisa Dunckley

wow. It’s about time this came out on FB and other social media.

It is on FB in a breeding forum, and has a huge following, all as horrified as anyone on this forum. I don’t understand how anyone could support Lisa and help her hide horses.

If you’re not a member of that breeding forum you’ll never see it though. I see nothing about it on FB - only here.

This. This one thread on this forum is the only place I have heard anything about this.

This is a common problem within the sport. The community is insular, until it’s not. I’ve posted about it on my personal Facebook page but I don’t know how much reach the posts are getting (no metric measurements)

It wasn’t until I went into the local non horse groups and utilized alternative platforms did things really start to change, and the focus started becoming broader.

I don’t think friends on Facebook means much in a lot of cases. I think some horse people will friend anybody else with a horse on the profile picture or horse photos on the page or mutual horse friends. I get tons of requests from people that I have no clue who they are but from their photos they obviously ride (I only accept ones from people I’ve actually met, with a few exceptions for very well known people)

No arrests yet in horse neglect probe in Stanislaus County | Modesto Bee (modbee.com)

The owner named in the article who picked up horses from the rescue is asking for donations as well. She has some interesting facebook posts. From the article it sounds like she was trying to breed a mare that had an 18 year career.

“Raboin said she had an agreement with Dunckley to see if her mare could breed offspring after an 18-year career in upper level jumping events. The horse imported from Germany had a five-figure value and will be taken to a veterinary specialist to confirm if the horse is pregnant, she said.”

The owner named in the article has her own history of scams and issues. She is not transparent as to where the money is going and how it is utilized.

As of today Lisa remains in contempt of the order of the judge in the Kentucky case. Her counsel has not filed a counterclaim against it.

As of today, Lisa Dunckley has been arrested by SC Sheriff’s department for charges of animal cruelty. She is awaiting bond.

Lisa Dunckley made bail early the same day she was arrested. Her Kentucky attorney countered on my motion, and lost in today’s pre-trial hearing. Dunckley now has 48 hours (Wednesday 3pm EST) to disclose location of Joyride.

Jingling for finding Joyride safe.

I don’t understand when she is in court why she wouldn’t just be required then to divulge Joyrides whereabouts. The court system sucks so bad.

This! Why does the judge not insist on it right then and there?

Because that is not how a body of law works I regards to motions.

The motion has to be argued and then overruled or accepted. It then needs to be signed off on by all parties with an accepted timeline.

It’s also designed to give every party a chance to do things. It’s slow, but, it does assure that when and if things don’t happen we have grounds to say we were fair and reasonable.

Also know whatever is divulged on the record is public and with an ongoing case in CA I’m sure she’s walking a tight line.

Any news???

Dunckley has not disclosed the whereabouts of Joyride to her counsel. It is my fear that she is covering up his potential death or sub-standard condition.

I am so sorry that this horrible uncertainty continues. Whatever Joyride’s status, not knowing compounds your distress.
