watching now ...

Boyd’s ride. Horse looked tense, Boyd holding him together.

Quit changing cameras every 2 secs, nbc!

we are all crazy to be up at this hour…

The NBC affiliate here is playing cycling. Super not happy.

Well, I’m getting rowing and not dressage. Any reports on Chris Burton’s test? Please?

Live online here, if you have one of the provider services.

Where does Aus get all the cute guy riders? Christopher Burton did quite a nice job with a mare who looked a tad explosive at the start. He settled her, though.

They’re showing cycling on one channel and women’s shooting on the other. I am able to watch here: http://www.nbcolympics.com/liveextra/video-watch.html?video=team-and-individual-eventing-dressage-day-1

**&&^%^%^%

got up tried in vain to find it. Found it. IT WOULDN’T LOAD ^&(&^)&() I could HEAR it. Missed Boyd’s ride totally. Kiwi looks rabbity. Something wrong with the picture. So glad I got up to miss the ride I wanted to see.:frowning:
It is ONLY available on line, not on tv. But it is coming thru You toube, and there is no flow to the test, it is very quick, and the picture will freeze, then horse will move FAST to catch up. NOT VERY HAPPY

Someday maybe they’ll figure out how to insert a score cam for each movement into the screen.

Yeah, my SO (who is at work) forgot to leave me the sign in info for the cable. And of course he isn’t responding to texts. So I’m now watching swimming at 4 am.

You can enter your email (I used a dummy) for a temporary pass.

I’m getting blank and frozen screens every so often, which is annoying.

Wish they would do that with the score cam!

Why aren’t some of these riders using double bridles when they have the option?

Very happy with the quality of the LiveExtra app for the iPhone. Mainly just happy it exists, because I’m watching at work. Shhhh  Sadly I think I’ll be asleep until any more of our riders go, and will have to catch their highlights later. Thank goodness for technology.

I think Boyd’s ride must have also been a working-it-out ride for figuring out cuts and camera angles. By the time this German just went, the shots were much better. They should have had someone ride the test in the ring yesterday, so the director could have had some idea what shots they wanted. But I’ve got HD equestrian events, so I really shouldn’t complain, or go all worky and start critiquing the directing.

Here is the scoring and ride times …

Boyd was 50.7 on Otis. I will not mention my extreme bitterness that Boyd is not on Neville as he should be. :frowning:

I have not tried this … but a friend said this is a freecast workaround if the NBC livestream isn’t available to you
http://freecast.com/news-blog/olympics/

Live feed is absolutely horrendous. I hope it gets better.

Yes, I’m disappointed in the streaming. my ISP will provide this but either I don’t have high enough download speeds or something similar in using cable. Tried in both Firefox and IE. Too jerky for me, it’s a shame as it would have been great. I remember watching the last Olympics from my computer without this problem.

At least in the US you get provisions to watch it online. Australia is in the dark ages.

However, Chris Burton and Leilani leading after 11 riders, so keep it up Chris!!!

My feed appears fine, but my adobe plugin keeps crashing. I’ll have to see if I need to update it when I go ride myself in a bit.

Live feed is great on the iPad app – for once I wasn’t so annoyed when my dog woke me up early!
