Can’t see the Japanese holding that position after tomorrow, let alone Tues.
Looks to me like 8 countries with a legitimate chance at a medal, and 4 countries in the running for the gold, Ger/Aus/GBR/NZ.
Should be an exciting next couple of days.

Even the course designer has said she’s not expecting people to make time around XC, so it may not necessarily be falls or run-outs, but a lot of time penalties being racked up. It will be interesting so see how the course plays out, especially how the horses handle the terrain, which we haven’t really seen much of, even with the course photos.

Here are the odds from Paddy Power (Irish bookmakers) for the team competition after today. NZ are good value at 11/2.

Sorry to be a tech bore here - but just wanted to be sure – the ExPat Shield does NOT work on Macs? I’ve had no luck - have any Mac folks been able to access the BBC feed in any way?

Thanks for any comments - even to finally shut me up![/QUOTE]

Expatshield does not work on macs. I got great bbc coverage today with a $10 1-month streamingvpn subscription-- highly recommended!

Again… I’m still a little perturbed that Jung’s score put him so high compared to PD. Very comparable tests. :frowning: Although I should be doing laundry, not be sitting here feeling perturbed about the Olympics…

Wow. I would happily bet on Mark Todd or Mary King at 12/1!

There is some great value in there for sure.
Jung is crazy short odds at 2/1. Granted the man and horse are machines, but no value there at all with such a tightly packed field.
