The storm is going west to east judging by the flags. (The view of the Queens house is looking north.) S0 - there seems to be more to come.
Am I reading this right? After dressage the US team is behind Japan? Oy.
Is the scoring anywhere on coth
All I’ve got is my phone this weekend and none of the links provided have worked.
The japanese have totally impresses me today (and not just becaus they are beating us, the US, in the team standings!) I hope it continues to go well for them.
On the US team, we could still medal. A lot of points should get added to the board Monday and Tuesday. 1 stop across the whole team is all that separates gold position and 6th at this point. Everybody in between can be quickly shuffled around with time penalties tomorrow and rails Tuesday!
Is anybody else struggling with the concept of this being a Saturday through Tuesday event?? I keep getting what day of the week I’m on at work wrong!
GO TODDY!! Great test!!!
Haven’t watched any of the tests today yet, but just peeked at the scores. I’m so pumped for crosscountry tomorrow! It’s going to really shake some things up.
I’m getting no ads at all. Using Comodo Dragon browser that is Chrome without Google. Much faster than Firefox with Adblock
WF-P on finishing his test “Over the hump now”
That bodes well !
Sure, we’re down the list in team standings. But there’s less than a refusal between the top 8 teams. It ain’t over yet.

Anyone know what breed the Italian horse is?
He’s a Belgian warmblood and was born in Belgium. His sire is http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/polidiktus+van+de+helle
I fell in love with him at weg, and am really rooting for him!
I’m running several hours behind, and am watching Jessica Phoenix and her OTTB Exponential. He is one of the biggest moving TBs I think I have ever seen. Doesn’t sit as much as the WBs, but he has a most active trot.
Ugh. I’m trying to catch up watching the BBC feed using ExpatShield and it’s stopping to buffer literally every five seconds. I’m on public WiFi, but this is ridiculous.
THX Backstage, as a Belgian myself, it’s a disgrace I didn’t know .
Rooting for him even more know!
As you are Belgian, perhaps you could arrange for delivery of a similar horse to my house?
Haha, funny you should say so, I recently got a jumper from Belgium, so far I like him but his powerful hindend scares the oh so amateur -huh, dressage- rider in me.
Can’t wait to see Apollo … go X-country t’rrow :).
Is anyone still able to view the Dressage Day 1 on NBCOlympics? I only seem to be able to replay this morning’s Day 2 dressage :(.
Oups, sorry found it :).
Where can you find the replay?
When setting up the acct I selected the link to the facebook app, so I went onto my FB and clicked where it said watched Eventing Day 1 dressage and it took me back to replay Day 1 on nbcolympics.
Admittedly not sure how to find it back on the nbc website itself, anybody else?

… I think we can get ALL of our horses around clean (maybe with time.) Wouldn’t that be great?
It would be, and I hope for that regardless of the final scores.
I will hope I am wrong that I’m figuring about 10 people in the top 20 have to fall off or have a stop or run-out to get the US team into the medals. I look forward to being wrong in those calculations.
I think for supporting the US team and individuals tomorrow on cross-country it isn’t about medaling. It’s about great riding and great rounds.
I look forward to seeing this pair in the WEG 2014 … but not the Olympics 2012. Just imo. I don’t agree with the Olympic selection strategy at all – it is very hard for me to support. As it was last time.
And Sweden. I have thought for some time that Sweden might be a team to make it into the medals if they put a couple of things together.
And behind the US is a strong XC team, France. It isn’t just about climbing up, it’s also about defending. At this point I am not surprised to see that, once again, this Olympics is more about supporting great rides from the U.S. team, and not worrying about medals strategy. Because at this point for the U.S. team/individuals to medal it will require others to fail. Not my favorite approach to winning.
