Watching Rolex online?

Any suggestion why I can only see the initial still picture
of the rider jumping. I click on the live feed and it goes
right back to the still picture after a couple seconds. I
am running Firefox (well Iceweasel actually) on a Linux
platform. My DH, the sys admin in our environment,
has no interest in video and is less than helpful about
the problem.

I did this too, refresh, refresh, refresh…then I realized I had to scroll down, and the video is there  At least that was how my problem was solved. It was a major “doh!!!” moment :stuck_out_tongue:

I realize camera angles can be at play, but did anyone else think it was odd to see so few live spectators watching dressage? The stands seemed barren. I guess after the WEG, I got used to seeing them FULL.

I was there yesterday, and there were sections that were much fuller than others. I’ve heard that ticket sales for today were really good, so I suspect the stands will look much, much fuller today! Friday always has higher attendance than Thursday, anyway. I also heard that there are not many tickets left Sunday, so if anyone wants seats for jumping, you may may want to get them soon!

I went to dressage last year and the stands were virtually empty on Thursday. You could pretty much sit anywhere you wanted.

On Friday, the stands beginning to fill until there was a decent crowd by afternoon. You could still move around some, though.

Some people can’t get off work for Thursday and even Friday. Also there are some that just can’t justify the expense to sit through two moderately-full days of dressage.

Frankly, I love every minute of dressage but there are some who are bored witless.

is XC pay per view?

Does that mean pay per view?

Does dressage start this morning at 9 or 9:30? I’ve got just a stationary advertisement… is my computer failing me?

Is there no commentary this morning, or just a technical glitch? I can see the riders and have audio, but I don’t hear any commentary today.

I hope we get to listen to Sally today!

I was wondering the same thing… usually the commentary is quite good for Rolex, and I enjoy it!

I’m missing the commentary too!

Seems eerily silent without it – glad to know my computer wasn’t the only one that seemed fried during Boyd’s ride.

I get nothing, except “LOADING”:frowning:

Now for WFP . . .

Commentary just came back on!

yay! commentary’s back.

A slight tangent, I forget just how tall William Fox-Pitt is every.time. until I see him on a horse again. Dude is a giant (a very elegant giant).

Missed WFP. :frowning:

I just bought a cable to connect my laptop to my family’s tv so I can watch XC on a 46" screen tomorrow. Woot!
