Judges seem a bit more generous with scoring today…
Ya just want to hate him for being so good, but you can’t because he is just that good. As a guy it is great to see a male role model even if I’m short, older, vastly under experienced, and wont ever touch his ability.
Watching all the riders has been educational and Sally’s well detailed and humorous commentary has been a great addition.

lol Is that Remmington’s or Boyd’s hotness you’re referring to?[/QUOTE]
tehe Boyd’s cute… for a biped. But it takes steamy, salty, veiny horse flesh to put a crackle in your best laid plans.
Such a shame, it was a very nice ride. Sally O’Connor really liked his test, mentioning his “seamless transitions,” and the lack of tail swishing, compared to how much was seen yesterday, the correct position for shoulder-in down the centerline and how nice the horse was, very supple and relaxed. Try and watch it if they offer on-demand later.
Where does one find individual rides posted? Are they on YouTube, or someplace associated w/ the USEF feed?
In the past the USEFnetwork has offered them as “on demand” - sometimes but not always, so I would check there. They might even have yesterday’s rides up, unfortunately I am so busy at work I cannot watch much.
Before anyone cries out “patriotic judging” towards Nick Burton (E), I’ll just point out that he also scored Twizzel nearly 5% higher than ©
I am loving Sally’s commentary, but I did smack my forehead when she said about Emily’s choice to wear a helmet in dressage, “It does look a bit strange, doesn’t it?”
Looks pretty smart if you ask me.
Love the flying lurch comment
We are between patients now, so I can finally tune in. No audio though, so if Sally says something particularly apt or hilarious, I’m expecting y’all to repeat it!
On their scrolling twitter thingy they said they would have the 1st day of dressage available last night, but I don’t see it anywhere
At one point yesterday I checked on my phone and there was a link to “day 1 dressage” but then it disappeared
LOL! Sally, talking about Arthur, “Don’t go anywhere folks, the next one could be sensational. Sensational, or he’ll blow up.”
Arthur?
I thought I had been told that he had WB, Hanoverian, Abundance perhaps?
GO ARTHUR!!!
That was awesome!
Go Arthur and Allison! What a great test for them!
What an athletic, gorgeous horse. You can tell she knows him inside and out and just what kind of ride he needs.

He was stunning to watch! New leader, too. Having been on a super talented but somewhat (unpredictably) explosive horse, I’m thrilled she kept him together and they had such a good test.
Go Arthur!
SHE DID IT. Allison gets a whole pack of gold stars in my book!!!
That was such a gorgeous test, especially toward the end.
All previous riders - take one step down. That gal can ride a horse!
Luv Sallys’ comments!
can’t believe I am writing this:winkgrin:; I especially appreciated her mentioning how special their( Arthur and Allison)s’ relationship is:yes:
It IS pay oer view!
I checked last night, and discovered to my horror, that universal had disappeared! I clicked around, and saw its place had changed, and so i called the Dish to whine. They said it was totally up to NBC when there were free times. It has been free for a month, and NOW WHEN I WANT/NEED IT -WHERE IS IT! They want $7.50 a month for the package, which I had to decline. Since I can see it online…I see no reason. The next free time will be safely past Rolex, The Derby, and Badminton.
