If this doesn’t cheer you up, you are in big trouble:

I laughed so hard upon seeing that, the cats fled the room. But they really were just playing… this was from only moments before:

Lore never leaves any doubt to how he is feeling!

Adding to my list, thank you!

And as a general announcement, my DH says if people don’t stop giving me fun names and we wind up with 18 cats in the house, one of you enablers is going to have to take me (and the cats) in.

I need this like I need a hole in my head (as the saying goes)…:laughing::laughing:

Meet Agent Mulder, a parking-lot kitten found by a coworker’s dog agility trainer. My coworker told this nice lady that I’d lost two elderly cats this year and might be open to a kitten. Never mind that she knows I adopted Bob shortly after losing the second cat. :smirk_cat:

I swore (unsuccessfully) that this is a no-kittens household because they are such a pain in the a$$ and I have a lot of expensive antique pottery that I’ve spent the last week sticking with earthquake putty.

Mulder has spent that time running up a $250 vet bill, pouncing on my face while I’m sleeping, terrifying the cage birds, climbing the curtains and otherwise acting like a normal, satanically possessed kitten. But he’s sweet, purrs all the time and gets along with the other cats and dogs….

Only a year or so until he becomes civilized!

Link to the agility trainer teaching Mulder some skills before I picked him up.

He is TOO adorable.

I’ve been catless for a couple of years and will be getting an older cat in a few months. I’ve finally put out a lot of very delicate items and all the shelves are too full for kitten shenanigans. But you enjoy the chaos.

So when are you getting Agent Scully?! :smile_cat::smiling_imp:

Peach is 17 with some health issues. When she’s gone, I’ll go to the shelter and find Agent Scully!

When I took Mulder to the vet, none of the techs got the reference at all. Even when I said “You know… from the X Files. Blank stares all around!:rofl::rofl:

Totally understand! My horse is named for a quote from The Chronicles of Narnia (I didn’t name him, but I recognized it), and no one else gets it. Imagine my surprise upon talking to one of the newer barn students and she immediately said “Oh, from Narnia!” without any prompting! Further conversation ensued, and we share so many interests I think this kid is me from another dimension.
