I was watching a nice horse schooling on xc one day and I asked her name. I was told it was either Falina or Wicked Falina, and I promptly said ‘the girl that I love’. The person was shocked I knew the reference. For those of you who don’t know, it is from El Paso by Marty Robbins.
Love it! “I picked a good one, looked like it could run…”
Miggy sort of tolerated being Superman for about five minutes. Lots of attention for being a good sport. He was fired up to play when we took it off so he chased Luna. She probably laughed at him and he was getting her back.
Nice catch! Marty
Miggy made a very good superman. I bought it!
I stacked up two pillows so I could read in bed, walked away for a second, and came back to this. It’s a throne now and I’m not invited
Those thrones are so inviting. Mine does that too. For some reason, I have piles of pillows on the couch and it does make a great throne.
And that face says “Don’t even think about it.”
I brought home a peacock tail feather for use as a kitty “wand” toy and of course Lucy loves to play with it. Her “not so svelte” siblings look on with envy.
Lucy is now about 16 months old and has come a long way from being a dumped, starved/emaciated kitten. She always makes me smile.
Figaro helping me find something in the canned goods cabinet. There’s a reason there’s still a baby latch on it while our kid is eight…
I added magnetic latches to my cabinets, mounted near the bottom of the doors to keep the cats out. They were under $2 each.
I need to do that. I have one that likes to open the doors that hide the small drawers in my dresser and pull out all my undies and pjs. I guess I’m lucky they haven’t either barfed or peed on them.
Okay, that’s high on the list of strange kitty habits. How potentially embarrassing, lol.
I miss my kitty! I enjoy coming here when I can and looking at all the lovely kitties.
