I installed a cat door in my bedroom door today (flap is off until they get comfortable with it) and one of the cats decided to use it just when I took a picture.

New foster litter. 4 weeks or a touch younger. 5 total, but 2 were too malnourished and sick to be fostered. Hopefully they’ll be able to join these boys in another few days. All of them are white, the one boy here looks like he’ll be a flame point but the other two don’t have any color showing on their points yet. They are the “Ice litter”- this is Glacier, Blizzard & Snowball. They are almost recovered from URI’s.

What is your dog telling the kitten? Household secrets?
I had to return the cat door I bought and buy a small dog door. Out of six cats two fit through the cat door, for two it was a tight fit, one got stuck and one couldn’t fit through it.
Be careful of the cats(especially long haired ones) getting matted fur on their backs or near the base of the tail. Depending on the size of the door, the height its positioned and how tall a cat’s body is, their backs may repetatively rub against the top of the door/flap.

I can’t think of anything. And it’s not just their looks. It’s their actions. Racing up the drapes, hanging off the back of a chair, or sleeping with their face in the food dish. Just.So.Cute!

I had a hip replacement last Thursday so am really trying to keep kitty off my lap but this morning she was trying work her way there but for my iPad

She’s so adorable!! How did your surgery go?
It went fine but my thigh is hella sore. No incisional pain at all. Yesterday was a blah day but hopefully better today. I am in the process of shucking the walker. I use the cane early in the day then the walker when I am more tired. Thanks for asking

Aussie2020 that is a gorgeous cat. Very sophisticated. My girl was on the foot of the recliner last night and apparently got too close to the edge. She fell off with a thunk.

A woman that is living in her van (please don’t judge her, she has a job but can’t afford an apt) saw a cat that looked skinny and old. She put some people food out for him once and he started hanging around where she parks at night.
Fast forward a couple of months and she had an officer approach her and say that someone complained about her being parked in the area every night and he understood her situation but she needed to find somewhere else. He also said they complained about her “mangy” cat. Kudos to this officer though, he gave her a couple spots where she would be safer and incognito.
So what to do about the mangy cat. I texted her several resources near her and she was able to borrow a trap and caught the cat. They also helped her to have him neutered. So now she is going to try to live with this feral cat because she couldn’t leave him behind and the shelter would not take him.
Within the week he has turned around! She thinks he was probably a pet that was dumped and has been on his own for quite some time. Anyway, she shared their first touch 
I still cry looking at the pic. It seems that they are saving each other.
