They are the cutest little ears, and the freckles just set them off!
Ralph has successfully transitioned from an outdoor Florida barn cat to an indoor Midwest heated workshop cat. He has accepted his domain and even become a lap cat. this is a former stray tom cat caught by the pound, neutered, and adopted by us as a barn cat right before his time was up. (Please excuse the mess…hubby is still setting up his shop).
Here is Roughy. He is usually the one that does bad, funny, or goofy things. He is the only cat that uses the house as a playground.
These are the two new kitties that arrived about 3 weeks ago. Slowly becoming used to me, want to be friendly, but not quite there yet. DEFINITELY related to Hammie, though - the one in front looks exactly like Ham in the face and eyes, and even has some of the same mannerisms Ham does! Crazy.
Make sure that Hammie isn’t somehow telling them that what they really need to do to succeed at your place is to hang themselves up on a fence and wait to be rescued!
Good Lord, NO!
They also need names . . . pretty sure the one in front is a male, the one behind him is a female. There is a third one that I see from time to time, but it appears to be about a year or so old, and will not come near me at all. Maybe Luke and Leia?
Great names! You could call the third one Han Solo, since he (if it’s a “he”) comes and goes.
WHAT?! Where was Ralph to defend her?
The ginger mafia muscled her out. Try paying the protection money next time!
Tragedy! Quelle Horreur!
Man those Kittens with Mittens are huge!
@Alex_and_Bodie_s_Mom - Luke and Leia are good names. Definitely Ham’s fam.
That’s Ralph front and center! He was there when she left to get something to eat downstairs, that’s when Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum ran upstairs and onto the bed. When she finished eating she went upstairs to discover a full on mutiny of the bed. Ralph didn’t do anything so she came to me to fix the problem. I went back downstairs and opened an olive jar and tapped it with a spoon. The Dastardly Duo were in the kitchen lickety split and Ella got her space back.
The boys had to wait patiently for Ella to leave the bed herself because if they jumped up when she was on it, she would growl or hiss and then Ralph would jump in and protect her. Then there would be a huge cat kerfuffle! This happened once in the past and the twins paid the price, they learned their lesson the first time.
That’s so funny - that she came to you to tattle. And the boys were so easy to lure away.
Cat dynamics crack me up.
Dizzy is 18.3lbs and Bird is 17.6lbs. All the more to cuddle and squeeze!
What a lovely picture of the two of you!
Baler weighs 18 lbs. He needs to go on a diet really. Your boys have more height on them than he does.
