We need some cute Kitty pics to cheer us up

Lol, she knows when to/not pick her battles.

Ella is strange, she always comes to get me and leads me to anything she thinks is out of place. She comes to me and asks me to follow her to show me someone’s hairball I didn’t see. She will then try to cover it up while I go get the paper towels.

Baler is a big boy too!

These two have more brawn than brains. They keep each other fit by wrestling and rough housing with each other.

Baler, too. However his wrestling partners are rather unwilling being older cats and not liking to be leapt on and pummeled. He keeps pretty fit by running thru the house and up and down the stairs multiple times. For a little fatty he can run pretty fast!

Baler says I see you.

Love his suspicious eyes!

Baler is the same ginger colour of my Billie Holiday.

He wasn’t sure what I was putting in his face - this was just before it was a screen full of nothing but pink nose.

Audrey, the 16 year old will not take no for an answer. She will climb on you and look you in the eye. She also makes a great shawl when she’s hungry.

These two barn cats are brothers. They and their mother were on the property when the current barn owner bought it. The former owners abandoned them, even though they knew the old barn in which they were living was going to be torn down. B******s.

The current barn owner found a place on the property for the mom and the kids, and moved them into the new barn after it was built. They were also neutered.

Mom passed and these two are close to twenty years old. Amazingly healthy. Have food, clean water, and have warm places in winter. And once a year there is a cat roundup for shots.

When I am working from home, this is the audience starting at 2:30. She has managed to move her ‘teatime’ food from 4 pm (end of work) to 2:45 over the course of two years. She stares, and then sighs, and stares, and…

Very pretty!

Her life is all about comfort.

We have had a few ups and downs since she got the radioactive iodine treatment for hyperthyroidism, and I’m not sure I’d do it again if I had a choice. She lost her appetite completely about 10 days post-treatments and had to go to the vet and go on an appetite stimulant for a few days. She immediately CHONKED OUT. She could not get enough food. Her 1-month post treatment T4 is just above the lower limit for normal, so now she’s possibly going to be hypothyroid, which means going back on medication, and not some easy transdermal thing. Argh, But she now seems to be a cat who just doesn’t eat when the weather is warm, so she’s lost a bit.
