We need some cute Kitty pics to cheer us up

Did it come in a box?
Betchathat would generate some interest :smirk:
Purpose-built cat toys gather dust here after an initial (very) short interaction.

I quit buying cat toys years ago, but I couldn’t resist the cactus from Chewy. They LOVE it so it was a good bet. (It helps to douse it with catnip!)

And there’s your name for her.  :smiling_imp:

Or Zuulima.

Not really a ‘cute’ picture, but this is yet-to-be-named Kitty (Kitt?) who arrived two weeks ago.

He is friendly and I’m sure he never was feral. Probably dumped, but he’s so skinny, I suppose he might have gotten lost. He went to the vet today to get neutered and his shots. Also blood work, just to be on the safe side. With one FIV-positive kitty already, I don’t want another, and I cannot go through another kidney kitty, either.

How about Slim Jim?

Grayson.

And thank you for taking him in and getting him some care. He is very handsome.

He looks like a Gulliver to me!

I like Gulliver, too!

And those eyes! Very exotic.

ETA: Speaking of the no longer so itty bitty Itty Bitty.

Oh, yes, those eyes … even my dad, who cannot tell my tabby cats apart, knows her by her eyes (and her chatting). I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cat with eyes like hers’.

Totally unrelated to the itty-bitty… Tasha is home from her spay. She ran and hid when she got home, but came to eat and purred for the first time for me. And purred and purred! She’s still skittish and mostly feral, but very happy to be home.

Wait a minute. How did I miss Tasha? I saw the beautiful gray kitty you were getting neutered today. Did he turn into a she? I’m so confused.

No, sorry! Grayson (the one I posted the photo of earlier) arrived about 2 weeks ago. Tasha and Trouble have been hanging out for about 6 weeks now - I think they migrated from the neighbors, as they look exactly like Hammie in the face, but are about 1/5 his size. They’re about 6 months, give or take. I’ve been trying to get them tamed down a little. Trouble is still pretty wild!

I must have somehow missed the arrival of Tasha and Trouble. And Grayson is now officially Grayson? Great name.

I want to come to your house. I love playing with kitties and you have so many cute ones!

I don’t think I actually talked about it - feral come and go sometimes, but I think these guys are staying. What’s 3 more? Right?

Yeah, I think it’s Grayson - I was calling him Smoky, but I don’t like that name. Grayson fits better, and sounds more dignified. (This from a person who has two male cats named Peaches and Sweetums …)

Quick update: Grayson is home now. His bloodwork was normal, except for some anemia, which didn’t seem to have an immediate cause, so we of course wormed him (tapes, too) and did a flea/tick treatment. He is NOT happy. But at least he won’t be making any more kittens, either.

Tom, the cat who was thought to be not cuddly. Still not happy around people other than me.

He’s handsome as ever, Peggy. Thanks for the pic!

Our beautiful new boy, Sully :blue_heart:

We waited over a year for him after losing our 16yo Squacks in March 2021 :broken_heart:

It’ll be interesting to see how Sully darkens as he ages, we can already see his color changing over his back and hips, and his little “stockings” are getting taller.
