We need some cute Kitty pics to cheer us up

Obviously telling DH to remember to turn it over to clean the gullet.
What would we do without cats?

He knows he is gorgeous and was ready for his close up.

He looks like my Teddy. Who I miss very much.

Gracie today. She loves this windowsill because it’s a good hiding place and it gets very warm behind those curtains.

(she has currently trapped me at DH’s computer by deciding to nap in my lap.)

She’s adorable. Good to see her little personality blooming.

When Ella’s mum and eventually her siblings all died under my house, her will to live beat her fears and she came to me. She chose Ralph as her protector from day 1 and they are extremely bonded. If one of the other cats come within a few feet of her she screams and hisses at them, if they don’t listen to her warning she will lash out, call for Ralph then retreat. Unless Ralph is in a heavy sleep he runs to her rescue and trounces the offender and anyone nearby. On the other hand she will purposely reach out and box one of the others for no reason other than her own. Then they quickly look around to see where Ralph is before slinking away from her. This makes it so hard for the Kittens With Mittens because they just want to play all of the time.

Cat dynamics are so very interesting.

Who says cats aren’t altruistic? Jack is always defending Duncan even though Duncan totally starts it.
And the Kittens with Mittens can always come to play with Baler. He is their size and likes to play hard like they do.

My poor other cats - they are all twice Baler’s age and don’t want to be pummeled and leapt on or play cat version of WWE.

The itty-bitty. … Who is the reason I’m sporting 3 band-aids on my hand right now.

Yes. At least, I presume so. I told her that Human Rights Watch has better things to do right now, though. I presume that’s why she knocked my blender on the floor.

Stinker. And looked at you like it was your fault for leaving it there, I’ll bet.

Oh boy, do they ever play hard, Baler must be a big boy too! Funny enough when Billie steps in between them they calm down instantly. When I rescued them as tiny unweaned kittens they immediately went to Billie and she actually dry suckled them for a few weeks. Her strong maternal instinct kicked in and she still takes care of them now even though they’re twice the size of her.

When Dizzy wants to be picked up he comes to me and sits up and begs like a circus bear, I’ll try and get a picture of him in the act.

Actually, no.

“Mum, the blender fell off the counter all by itself!”

Yes because they just do.

@CanadianTrotter - yeah, he’s about 17-18 lbs of kitty. He doesn’t look fat - he’s just looks solid. And he certainly isn’t out of shape. Anyone that can run up and down 15 steps several times and take multiple laps of the house is pretty fit in my book. I need a video of him running down the stiars because it’s hilarious.
