I know, right! All are orange love bugs too! Oli is a big lap cat that jumps on your lap multiple times a day.
I had a friend that just did that. Worked well I believe.
I had it done on a cat many years ago. I looked into it for Naku in 2019, but because of her age and disposition decided against it. She is 21 and still with me! It’s a lot of money up front, but about the cost of 3 1/2 years of transdermal hyperthyroid medication.
I’ve never seen a small, male red cat but all the females I’ve seen are tiny.
One day last summer we stopped at the barn on the way home from a car show so I could do chores and Helper had to check out my dad’s '58 Plymouth.
that so adorable. Does the procedure wipe him out that much?
No cute kitty pics, but happy St. Gertrude’s Day (March 17), patron saint of cats.
I see a red belly…nom, nom, nom!
That’s what I say to Ralph before I move in to give him a raspberry on his tummy.
@Marla_100, you mean Meow?
I think getting his breakfast and then his insulin really did make him feel better after his nap, so I think he felt pretty punky before hand.
Testing became something he leapt up on the counter and assumed the sternal position on his towel for.
At this point he was having very high bg numbers and I was dosing high insulin doses, because we soon learned, he had a pituitary tumor.
I used to do the same.
He was shaved in this pic for an ultrasound we did.
Awww, poor ginger man!
It does my heart good when I see other cats present their bellies while being held.
You’re a good “Meow Mum”!
And my new bunch of fosters. They came yesterday and momma cat is extremely stressed so I haven’t gotten many pics yet. Skinny momma and skinny kittens but hopefully once she settles in they’ll start improving rapidly. Momma cat has a great appetite and I’m feeding her as often as possible.
ETA: They’re skinny, beaten-up kittens, unfortunately. The tabby and white had a laceration that needed a staple to close and one of the tabbies has a badly broken tail. Poor kitties! No wonder the mom is so stressed. But she’s a really good mom so hopefully they’ll be fat and bouncy in no time!
They are so cute!
What sweeties! They look pretty happy in those photos.
Has her appetite returned to normal yet?
Yes, finally!
Yay!!
