WEC Premier Equitation Cup

First round is streaming now on CMH.

Any Given Sunday just jumped around with Isabelle Ehman - he’ll be 20 in May and looks fabulous.

Too bad that USEF isn’t streaming it. :slightly_frowning_face:
I’m watching the replay of the under 25s GP team class at WEF.

I’m watching on the WEC live stream which I found on their website.
The class was moved into indoor ring #3 due to potential weather issues, I guess.
First round is finishing up, top 20 to follow.

Yes, you must have a CMH subscription to watch that. The only live classes I can watch with my USEF login are both Desert Circuit classes.

Here’s the link

I’m not a CMH member – I’m too cheap for that!

Looks as if the CSI5* at WEF will be available for USEF subscribers today in a few hours though.

Nice. Just no full screen but that’s OK. Thanks for the link!

Whoops, leadline is coming up. Equitation is apparently over.

I was told the top 20 were going to go at 8 o’clock tonight. Has that plan changed?

MHM I’m having a hard time figuring out the schedule. Seems as if they don’t have EQ classes tonight though.

I think they are preparing to have the top 20 phase in indoor #3, same location as the first round.

Do you know what time that it is scheduled?

Never mind. I’ve been looking at the schedule for OHIO WEC.

Found it! Thanks again. Top 20 class listed as beginning at 7:30 EST

They are beginning the Flat phase NOW, which will be done “entirely without stirrups.”

I can only imagine how those kids and horses are feeling right now… that was a LONG stretch of canter.

The trot looked tough. I always found the canter without stirrups easier than the trot.

Oh for sure. My adult amateur self is humbled by the thought of doing any of these tests with stirrups, much less all of them without.

Flat phase is complete. 2nd phase - Top 20 o/f - to begin at 7:30.

Me too. It looks painful.

Top twenty starts at 7:30 tonight, according to the schedule. They just finished the leadline.

Yes, I’m watching. Thanks for the cute leadline photos. I’m watching on the small screen so it’s nice to see a close up.
