What’s the point of paying commentators when you end up listening to dead air for 30+ seconds of every round? Even when they do speak, what they’ve offered is less interesting than watching paint dry.

Seemed like weather issues. Though given the paucity of Round 1 commentary it was hard to be sure . . .

I don’t think that was the round Jordan Gibbs wanted… made a big bid at the first fence and then had to keep saving the rest of the round. Her crop was also sort of flipping around and drawing attention.
Some significant bobbles from the top 2… it’ll be interesting to see which 4 make it back for the test. Kate Egan’s on top IMO.
Was that the young lady on the chestnut that went 3 or 4 back?
Yes - I think she was coming back 3rd.

Disappointing for Ellie - refusal at 6. She finished up nicely, though.
Tough for Carlie as well - late getting the halt after fence 1 and ended up trotting 2.
Oh man—that halt in the middle of that line is a real test!
Cent 15 gives Jordan some trouble in the halt after 1 as well and ends up too close to 2 - refuses the jump out.
I’d be quaking in my boots if I were Kate Egan right now. This is one tough test.

With the way that test went for everyone else, she’s still the clear class winner in my book but YIKES. Glad to see a bit of humor and camaraderie amongst the four of them on the way out.

Interesting Jordan ended up third when she didn’t halt at the end. None of the tests were great but I would think not completing the test would have dropped her past Ellie.
