lucinda is even getting the nationalities wrong. she just referred to the dutch rider De Jong, as Austrian

No Lucinda, Sam Watson’s horse is not by Master Imp, he’s by Puissance. She was kinda close though, both Master Imp and Puissance are by Imperius.

Ariel and Simon 10 seconds under time. I’m thrilled for them and wish we had seen more! Will the individual rounds be available to re-watch later?

I could not be happier for Ariel. What a freaking superstar they both are.

this is one of your riders to replace the Philip, Boyd and Buck group, as they retire, or no longer are considered the ā€œmust beā€ on most teams.

very happy for Ariel.

Did anyone else catch the Swiss rider only kind of half jump one of the combinations? I was surprised he carried on, but maybe I missed something?

I saw that too. And Amanda looked like she jumped outside the first flag but it was too fast to really tell.

i will be surprised if they are not eliminated for not jumping the fence.

okay, that’s what I thought. I wasn’t sure if he’d get pulled up mis course, but i guess not!

Yep eliminated

I mistakenly clicked on the German commentary version but speak just enough of it that it’s making for a good viewing experience. :yum:

Holly just had a pin :frowning:

Ariel has a proven record of doing great in the big international events against the best competition. I hope that someone is recognizing how good she is and helps her get a good string of horses.

as our least experienced pair, and despite accumulating a lot of time penalties, I think she did a decent job on XC.
lots of the time penalties were probably due to arguments between horse and rider on course. that may be something they can fix for the future.

Agreed she did a great job and he is certainly a horse for our future.

is anyone else being kicked out of the live feed?

three times in the past 30 minutes i have had an ā€œoh snapā€ error message, broad band error or something similar, and had to close everything and restart,

I only have the live feed, the live scoring and this Coth page open, so it should not be a broadband problem.

Another Lucinda correction: Jaguar Mail is not a French Thoroughbred. He’s mostly Thoroughbred, 82%, but from a SF and Hanoverian damline.
