Well, that didnt take long

This is particularly good fun, the court document back from when Buck stole a computer from his “partner” in his Spirit Bridle business. Lots of it is legalese, but this bit is a laugh. Yes, there was ONE white TB stallion in the USA and Buck had manage to gain approval to train it (sure). Almost as good as when he ran for US President, or when he sued Obama, HRC and (I think) Nancy Pelosi, or when he sued the AQHA. He’s a special one.

Sort of a familiar tune, but with a different singer, eh?

It pains me to say it, but NP actually rides better than The Good Reverend, and that’s a pretty low bar.

I deal with pro se frequent fliers often. Many of them have obvious mental health issues. Their filings look a lot like this.

Yeah, he’s definitely a special one. There’s a lot of history there, much of it extremely scattered.

The Rev. is a certifiable loon.
Dr. Cook is merely eccentric.
(He taught at TUSVM when I was there, and I spent a week’s elective time with him on equine ear, nose and throat stuff.)

Like limbo bar low, right?

NP had some training in English saddle. I suspect the Rev is a western rider attempting to ride in a English saddle.

I fixed that for you (see bolding).

That would make sense because the Spirit Bridle, complete with accompanying Spirit Yoke, can be (allegedly) used on both English and western horses. So the Rev had to be an all-around kinda guy.

Only yesterday I mused here that he might be a barefoot trimmer, and here we go …

 I remember both of those looneytune posters!
Not enough to remember content, just enough to get a Goose Walking on Grave feeling seeing the handles :grimacing:
In the great style of SLC/SLC2, Mahnavu (sp?) & the Thoroughbred That Saved Lives.
Thems were The Great Trainwrecks… :relieved:

Was the Spirit Bridle with Complementary Spirit Yoke not paying off? So he went into barefoot trimming?

That’s quite a tactic, to slam farriers and make the horse owner directly responsible for “what the farrier does.”

Does he also have a series of YT videos or DVDs he’s selling? You know, so we can learn the nuances of barefoot trimming or how to properly hover over our farriers and bark instructions?

This one could have the alternate title of “How to get fired as a client”.

There’s a whole bunch of comments on the post, and in one he says he was trained by two farriers in his barefoot trimming career. Someone asks for their names and if they had any educational info that other people could look at, but one has passed away and the other has retired (surprise!). It’s a bit scary that not only are his OTTBs PTS with their bad feet, but that he has “clients” he’s trimming for as well. :frowning:

I always wondered what happened to those poor horses that he would obtain. Suddenly they were dead - because they couldn’t go barefoot?

I don’t know why they were PTS, but definitely the last one he mentioned several times that it had bad feet off the track, and I don’t think he ever said he rode it at all. If it had bad feet already, and he was using his “ole horseman” skills to trim it up, he could have made it worse rather than better. Who knows really, it’s all conjecture from our side and probable fantasy from his.

Mah Navu was awesome. This is nothing compared to the narratives. Cannot recall why she was banned, other than insulting everyone who offered suggestions and even in-person help.

Maybe for the Waaaaay TMI posts on her son’s pilonoidal cyst issue? :face_vomiting:
Or the convoluted Rescue In A Blizzard fantastical tale?
Or…???

ETA:
Vid has her YouTube channel with 40 additional vids of the Fairytale Horse genre.
All pretty eyeroll-worthy
