What is a "403 Error"

I cannot reply to the Foal Watch 2025 anymore… it’s not the content, i tried completely re-doing my reply, i tried not replying to the poster i was replying to and just replying to the thread, nothing… possible to fix? :worried:

*edited to add: I was able to post from my phone, though…

Im getting the same error trying to post on my thread. Tried logging in and out again. Tried it on my phone. No dice

EDIT: I removed quotes from my text(I had some words in quotes) and it now works.

I just had this issue trying to tag previous posters in a thread. Once I took out the @ tag, it posted fine. Just FYI

I’m getting a 403 error when I try to use the search feature.
Ironically, I’m looking to see whether anyone has posted about a new search engine/browser called Ecosia because I want to avoid a duplicate thread/topic.

Based in Germany, Ecosia funnels its profits into biodiversity projects around the world:

Are you getting the error when you try other search terms? I tried “ecosia” and it returned this thread as a result (and no others).

It was happening with every search request. I tried “browser”, then tried horse-related terms like “accepting contact.” I’d get the message after I entered three or four letters.

Annndddd…
Of course, now it’s working. No error message. Thank you.
You’re probably magic.

 Definitely nothing of my doing, but I’m glad it’s working for you now!

I noticed recently that I get a 403 error if I start my post off by tagging someone. If I change the wording so the tag comes after other verbiage, I no longer get the error. All the words are the same but putting them in a different order is what is fixing this for me.
