Past kitties have included: Smudge, DJ, Freckles, Reckless, Flag, Bentley, Priscilla, Mr. Cat, and Miss Kitty.

Ho Boy! Ready?

Jacko - black 17yo xtom. My soul kitty who helped me raise one daughter. He TALKS to me, mind to mind.
Janie - calico 13yo queen. My sweet-talker who went from ‘closet cat’ to ‘country-lovin’ girl and lost 10#!
Fox - gold tabby 14yo xtom. Dying by inches hyperthyroid. The troubled child who always wanted to be FIRST.
Doobie - Fox’s sister, 14yo champagne tabby. Loves everyone - the one who breaks the ‘all cats are aloof’ rule to pieces.
Dexter - gold and white 6yo xtom. Starving wild child that appeared on our porch and stayed. He is the house BULLY.
Copper - Calico Wild queen who came with the house. We think 4yo, and mother of our youngest cats 6/9/2015. Now spayed.

The kittens:
Smudge - 6mo black tabby xtom who loves to love everyone (except Dexter
)
Patsy - 6mo gold tabby with white face/feet. A gentle sweet girl
Pixie - 6mo FLUFFY gold tabby w/white. The runt. BIG personality in a small package!

“Guest” cats (daughter’s cats)
Bellah - 7yo Tortie queen
FeFe - 8yo yellow tabbie queen. Stole her in near-death starving condition off a front porch. She is the ‘killer’ of the family - scares the Aussies! We named her Fefe because she was anything but!

Never to be forgotten - Jezebel. Died at 9 years. Took a big piece o’ my heart with her.

Did I say DOGS?

Mimi - my bossy Chi
Gizmo - the Jack Roodle
Beatrice - Aussie mom to: Sheila & Annie. Our 24-hour farm security.

Current Cats:
Enzo
Moon
Remi
Joey

Jake, the cat my mom stole from me

Ding ding ding

Past cats:

Pirou (aka Pirouette before my grandpa discovered his cat was a male, lol)
Farrah (who promptly ran away after we moved to a different house :frowning:

Not many cats
we are dog people, mostly.

Marcus (came from the MRFRS as “Mark”, but it wasn’t dignified enough), medium-coated gray mixed breed, 9-ish.
Sundae, one of my Jellicle cats, a female someone dumped sick at the barn and I was ONLY going to take her for a while since no one else could have a cat inside
yeah.
P.C. (Porch Cat), my other Jellicle cat. He was living under my front porch.
Gunpowder–black with a tiny white bib like 99% of cats, apparently. Two weeks after I lost Jet, my big fluffy first indoor cat ever whom I’d had since he was a tiny barn kitten, and I’d decided I was good with only three indoor cats, I got out of my car, one of the local semi-ferals bolted out of the garage, and BEHIND me I get a ‘meow’ and there is Gunpowder. He’s called Gunpowder because it was November 5th.

Barn Cats (current only, past would take pages):
Tripod: Gray tiger. Obviously, he only has three legs. He had a bite wound that had gone septic into the bone when he turned up (we never go out and get barn cats, they just kind of happen) so he had it amputated to the shoulder. Does not stop him from punching other cats in the face.
Friday: Dilute gray tiger who was playing on the porch one Friday 13th. Mom: “You don’t live here.” Friday: “Well I do now.”
Thursday: Orange and white patches. Our old beagle found him on the side of the road as a tiny kitten on a Thursday. The Mighty Hunter. He stalks DEER.
Bow Tie: Solid black cat with a small white bib. Basically slightly slimmer Gunpowder. Low cat in the pecking order. Only Thursday sort of likes him and even he uses him as a pillow.
Mr. Seven: Longest holdout for being taken to the vet-solid black cat with a small white bib. Big hefty tomcat (not any more) who believes Tripod is going to beat him up (he’s right.) When he finally went in to the vet Dad apparently did not emphasize the “feral” part of semi-feral enough as they politely suggested he be renamed “666” as he began snarling before anyone got near the crate, drew blood on a tech, and had to be sedated to do anything. He allegedly no longer trusts Mom and Dad. I pick him up and give him snuggles. (All the “wild” barn cats, except Spooky, who was Jet’s mother, liked to make my parents liars because all of them acted like I was their bestest friend and would I please pick them up and cuddle them even if my parents had been insisting whichever cat it was wouldn’t come near people.)

Barn Cat emeriti (most deceased, one given away): Kitty, K2, Quatro, Fuzzy, Spooky, B.C., Stranger, Jet (became a house cat), Snoopy, Tiger, Scardey Kat (given away to become a house cat), B.C., Tom

3 year old DSH - Bad Disco Kitty
1 year old DSH - Zazzles Because He’s Zazzy!

Both found and loving life!

Moo, aka Babycat, aka Queen Moo
my 5 year old one eyed tabby and white BIG BOSSY girl who likes no one but me. Our yellow lab is terrified of her, with good reason. ??

Then there’s Betty Lou. She was Betty Lou Who when I first got her (rescue from a hoarder situation)(actually she didn’t have a name) but that seemed kind of
loveless
and she is now Betty Lou Tomato.
Or Betsy Lou, depending on the day. She is very shy and not used to being loved.

Gone but never forgotten:Rosie. My heart kitty. I still see her in my dreams and I miss her every day.

Mango - long story but she’s a 6lb spotted tabby rescued feral who is not feral
Miles - orange classic tabby rescue who is a complete lover
Bella - calico I caught as a feral kitten on my driveway 5 yrs ago
Diesel- blk and white mackerel tabby I rescued off a busy street 10 yrs ago.

I’ll just go with my current one:

Sophie

aka Sweet Angel Kitty, Soph Unit, Kitty Cent (b/c she’s been shot and has shrapnel)

We have Kitty, Lucky, Frederick and Lynxie. Sweety and Mittens are greatly missed.

Crash Test Dummy Cat
Kahli Ma
Ivan the Purrible
Thing Too
Cleo-leo
Fosbury Flop
Tina Turner

all of them are black and white kitties except Crash Test Dummy Cat who is a calico

Boo, female 8 years old - torbie long haired street cat
Peeka, female 4 year old - orange classic tabby short haired found in the woods cat.
Zorro, male 2 year old - jet black domestic short hair street cat.

The current trio:
Smidgen: DSH, white (except when she barges in while roommate is dying her hair; she’s had the odd pink spot
). Naked because she was a teeny little smidgen when I got her, and had a teeny little smidgen of black on her head, which disappeared as she got older.

Jesse James: DSH, tuxedo. Wears black, has a mustache and a bad attitude. Also considered naming him Earnhardt for the above reasons. Also answers to Monster and Babycat.

Oreo: DSH, tuxedo. Former barn cat who accidentally wound up in my car when I left a former BM job; came with the name for her penchant for stealing them, not because she resembles one.

Siamese named Amy Farrah Fowler who was found as a kitten at my office, along with her brother. Brother was adopted and Amy was to go to the same home, but then it was found out that the children were allergic to cats. Brother went to live with the neighbors, who love him, but they couldn’t have another pet, so AFF just stayed with me.

Pilgrim
Black dsh a rescue we took in around Thanksgiving 5 years ago.

So many wonderful names!
