and another of Malarkey…

Lark lived 18 years, and Muff lived 20. Both pretty healthy and I fed them meow mix!

do you mind if I put up a few more? I haven’t seen these pictures in a long time and they make me very happy…
image This is another of Lark.

One of the last of Lark. He had to be around 17 here. Here are two more of Muff.

This last one is also from a photo, and I know I did about 10 of them, they were so cool.

I have WAY too many photos - but as everyone has seen Hammie and Itty-Bitty, I’ll share some of my other two, Maximus and Tiny. Maximus is the one with the white. They were abandoned, so I raised them basically from birth.

This was Maximus and Tiny at two days old. The basket they’re in is 4" wide and 6" long.

Here they are about 9 weeks later:

And a year after that.

I am so glad you liked the pix of my good boy. Funny those two lived so long, and I have had my own cats for over 40 years. Most got feline aids until there was a vaccine. But I fed them crap and they lived forever. I just hadn’t seen these pix for a while and he was such a beauty. He was very droll. Laid back. Best tempered cat ever except maybe Gatsby.
And my horse, was the same age as the little girl on him. She is now 48. I had that horse 29 years and she was never sick or sorry. We weren’t very talented but I loved eventing, and everything about it. Dr. Pepper is buried at a friend’s place.

Did the egg split with these two? Bird and Dizzy are so are so extremely alike in almost all areas, I swear they’re twins. Unless you can catch a glimpse of their faces straight on it’s hard to tell who is who. Now whenever I catch one getting into trouble I say, “Hey!”, then Bummy Bird screams, “Who is that?”

Oh, yes, they’re very different, very separate cats, but they do love each other and are pretty much bonded for life.

Before Hammie, they were together constantly. But Tiny likes Hammie, and Maximus isn’t so keen, so they had a small parting of the ways on that issue. They still sleep together at night, though, in my bathroom, just as they have since Day 1.

Apparently, not many, but here’s Maximus a couple of years ago:

mine do not seem to get themselves in cute positions, but I just bought them a cute scratching post. Dickens, my perfect boy, was immediately interested. But that was short-lived. THEN I broke out the catnip. Oh Boy!! I will upload a few pics when I get aroundtoit!

here is the one of Bug. The one of Dickens is too dark and there is a 24-second video but it is probably too big to share. The cactus is from Chewy

Here are my babies:

Roughy - Orange and white
Fela - Black with a little white (can’t see the white in the picture)
Dewey - Fluffy tabby
Nina - Short hair tabby
Ms. Wee (Pee Wee) - Gray and white

It’s an old picture but I love it because they’re all together. Nina is the oldest, Roughy is the youngest. Dewey isn’t with me anymore. Some of you will remember he was put to sleep last summer (kidney disease). I miss him every day.

Fela is thinner now and I think Pee Wee is too.

Alex and Bodie’s Mom - Did you post a picture of Mick? I don’t think I have ever seen a picture of her.

I never heard the word “meezer” until I heard it on COTH. At first I didn’t know what it meant. All my cats are strays or foundlings so I get whatever comes to me. I have never had a meezer but I would like to have one someday. Is it true that they’re usually very vocal?

I like friendly cats. The pests, that won’t leave you alone and want to be petted and held all the time. I really like orange and whites, but anything and white is pretty good with me. Of course, I wouldn’t turn away a no-white kitty, but there’s just something about a cat with boots that I just love.

Right now I only have barn cats, a pair of tamed up semi-ferals I took from a lady in the suburbs that was unhappy that they were killing all of her chipmunks and other small creatures. She had the whole shebang done for them - spay/neuter, vaccines, chips, ear tips. I’ve had them since last spring and I just love them. The male is younger and a ginger with just a bit of white on his chest and I named him Hammie, as he’s a total ham and was the friendlier of the two when they came. The female is a ginger with a lot of white that came with the name Mama and she is finally letting me pet her, that took MONTHS. They have been absolute murder on mice on the entire farm, it’s amazing!
