I’m calling bosh on this story
No so quietly, Kees and Tosca made it quite well known last year already that if the right $$ came along they would sell. They would be crazy not to. Just sucks for those of us who loved them as a team.
Apparently Edward just said in the press conference that there is no truth to the rumors of Totilas getting sold. This is according to someone who just posted a comment on the Dutch WEG Twitter.
At this point, he would surely be the best investment at stud.

“We bought Totilas, now known as The Carrot’s Totilas. Robert Dover’s going to make another comeback & ride him for us”
Actually though, I bet COTH bought him just so you people could have your chance to sit on him 
didn’t they swear up and down last year that he was not going to be used for stud til after the Olympics? and yet…

If the $36million figure I’ve heard from a friend who is there is accurate… sometimes ‘street talk’ contains more than a little truth. Will be interesting to see.

Well since Edward said the horse has not been told in an official press conference, the horse has not been sold!!!
Hopefully Gal is correct and the horse has not been sold, but remember how Ben Maher also told the press that Rolette had not been sold? Sadly, he was wrong 
Totilas was rumored to be valued at $36 million in December 2009. I think it must be pure gossip.
I would feel more sure of it when we hear it from the owners, not the man who rides the horse.
BTW, who are the owners? Are they a big deal in breeding/dressage horses? Did they breed Totilas or buy him?

The rider would be the 1st to know. He said it was a made up rumor…everyone let it go!
