Who here owns a Hanoverian???

My Hanoverians

I have two Hanoverian mares:

A rising 5 year old black mare by Santorini out of an Akzent II/Lanthan mare. This is my RCMP horse, bred for the ride, but she got too tall (she’s 17.3hh) and so I bought her at the auction in October 2007 as a 3 year old. Showed her last year with wonderful success in Training level :-).

Here is a picture:

My other one is a rising 3 year old chestnut mare by Don Frederico out of a Lauries Crusader/Lemon Park mare. “Ellie” is not yet backed, but works nicely on the lunge and is very smart and capable with outstanding movement and a super character. I think she will be similar in type to my other mare - tall and leggy (she is already almost 16.2hh) and elegant.

Here is her picture:

We have Lion King. He is by Latimer out of Harmonie by Hohenstein.

He is at PSG. He is really a fun horse!

Pics of him on our web site. Link in sig line.

Gosh, I have several, though not as many as I used to:

First, I get to brag that I bred STF’s hanoverian, Dreamstreet!

I own her mother, Wallstreet (Waldhorn/Grunewald/Ehrenschild)

her other daughter, Fillistern (Feiner Stern/Waldhorn/Grunewald)

Diende (Diamont/Darwin/Marconi)

Her daughters, Feiner Fantasy (Feiner Stern/Diamont/Darwin)

and Prosper (Pablo/Diamon/Darwin).

Pics all over my website

Can you look up the breeder ? Are they named Crome-Sperling ?
Yes, thats the breeder of my guy.

Her daughters, Feiner Fantasy (Feiner Stern/Diamont/Darwin)

This is one of the nicest fillies I have even known. She has such a future in front of her!

Thanks, STF! She is doing very well. She was high point at her first dressage show a couple of weeks ago. It was just a schooling show, but she looked great. Judge was Donna Meyer and she asked me to let her know if I decided to sell her!

A stunning boy!! You must keep me updated! Is your guy still growing? I hope my boy doesn’t get bigger then 16.1-2h!

Is a delaurentis X rubenstein cross, already about 16.2 hands!
Widmark X Letkiss/Don Carlos coming 6 y/o. Sadly we have had many health related set backs, so I have few pictures of him doing his thing. Lots of power and rideability. Super work ethic!

What a nice guy, In The Zone. He is very nicely put together, and look at his great, big feet! I heart the Widmarks.

Love my Hanoverian’s!

I love my Hanoverians, the first one I got in 2000 and have had well over 50 since. I love to train them up the levels of dressage. The bloodlines are so true to type if you know a line you can count on the foals being the same. At this time I have two! One for me and one I have to sell, but I enjoy owning them and only sell my horses to good matches. I think it is important for both horse and rider to have a bond, then as a horse moves up the levels you really see the magic.

I bought my first Hano a year ago. He’s now 4.5 yrs. old and is by Delaurentis.
Great temperament and loads of power, he’s standing a bit over 17.1 hands.

I do! two to be exact.
My first Hanoverian was my Akzent II / Perfekt mare by the name of Aisha. She will always be my heart horse, just an amazing mare.

I now own her daughter and grandson. Daughter is by Warkanson (Warkant/Espri), and grandson is Fabuleux/Warkanson/Akzent II. The temperaments, type, and sensibility of the Absatz-bred horses will keep me coming back for a lifetime. Such smart, people-oriented horses.

I have two hanoverians:

Dalliance (Davignport x Delphia/Dekor)

&

Atlanta (Akatschi x Dorfmaedel/Dynamo)

Both chestnuts. I got Dalliance “Delaney” in May of 2007 with her Balou du Rouet colt by her side. I bred her to Freestyle last year and was blessed with a wonderful black colt, Freedance this year. She was bred to Royal Hit and lost it very early on and so she has been put back under saddle this winter and is doing well. She is back under lights and will get bred early next spring.

Atlanta I bought this past October in foal to Bonheur. I will most likely be breeding her to SonntagsKind in 2009.

I would like to breed my mare sometime in the future. There are so many stallions out there to choose from. I’ll have to hang out more in the Breeders Forum to study up on them.

2007 USEF Breeder of the Year!

Hello Marydell,
I have one of yours, I’m the owner of Diamond Mine MF!!!
I can’t tell you how pleased I am with him…what a horse.

![](-line , by Maximillian (Matrose) out of Prince John mare, approved hanoverian.

There does not seem to be many M lines around, but I REALLY love them!

He is 24 now, 22 in this pix and still going strong! (His idea of “play” in his free time is still caprioles and courbettes!)
[IMG]http://i131.photobucket.com/albums/p316/Wildhounds/WingedHoof3.jpg)

PS- I love hearing about the bloodlines everyone has. I think it’s really interesting that there are several jumpers in the pedigrees. Nice horses, all!
Yes, it is very interesting. My guy, although officially registered Oldenburg GOV, is old style G-line jumper bred. To my knowledge, he is one of only 2 stallions in the US by Gonzo I (by Gepard - also kind of rare to see), who was a Puissance jumper. His babies are turning out to be talented for both dressage and jumping! It’s very exciting. Don’t have pics to post but lots on the website!
