WILLEM: please jingle for mein selve (update pg 11)

Willem, some how I seriously doubt that your mother is upset beacuse your hoof stepped on her hand…she would not be doing all of this care of you if she did not love you, and want you to be well…I think in this instance, your being an opinionated, bossy, educated, goodlooking guy, who also happens to be very tall, will work in your favor , but don’t over do it, OK?
I talked to my Jack about retirement today ( he just went into it this spring) and he says it is wonderful…you eat, you poop, you pee, and people do your bidding…he LOFFS it, and he knows he is safe and secure, as you will be !!!
OPPPPSSSSSSSSSSSS almost forgot…did you know you could make SORBET, not only ice cream in an ice cream maker??? there is no fat(and you can watch the sugar count as well !!!) in sorbet, and it can be apple flavored, or what ever flavor you desire.I have recipes, because I use mine all the time for that…I, too have to watch the fat/calorie intake
Huggsssssssssssssssssss Coreene, you are doing a marvelous job, and thank you for thinking of us and keeping us posted on Willems progress !!!AND extra hugs to Willems Grandpa for the bigger apples!!! Way cool !!

P.S. for Albion:

That’s beautiful. Thank you.

Feel better, Big Man.

The Syringe Slop might not be as tasty as a fresh tasty apfel struedel, but please please understand that your momma is very concerned for you, and for us people this can cause stress. To help her keep her stress levels down so she can better take care of you, just suck it up and eat the darned stuff.

It’s for your own good, Willem. Please have one of your cool CA barn friends keep us updated on your condition, and feel better.

Sending my daily jingles for Willem and Coreene. Hang tough, you two!

“I am not afraid of storms, for I am learning to sail my ship.”

Thank you, you guys rock. If I could give you a big group hug I would, so stand right close to the computer screen and know my arms are OPEN THIS WIDE and that I am hugging you all.

I am sure that those who have gone through the founder thing know that the two hours before you go back to do the meds in the evening are the ones where you want to vomit even more because you start thinking Will It Be Worse? Will It Be Better? Is Today Going To Be The Day? How Much Longer Will It Go Of For? How Much Will It Cost? Will It All Get Better And Then Get Worse Again?

I would like to throw myself onto the ground and scream and kick and cry and just yell “IT’S NOT FAIR! IT’S NOT FAIR! WHY DID THIS HAPPEN TO US?!”

But life is not fair. I have always believed that God never throws more at you than you can handle. I love that beautiful old darling precious horse more than anything, I absolutely adore him. If it is meant to be that he gets better, he will. If he is not meant to get better, then I will thank him from the bottom of my heart for all the joy and love we have shared over the last eleven years and then I will give him a dignified passing and send him to Heaven with tears of sadness that he is gone, but tears of joy in knowing that I will see him again, founder-free.

But it sure doesn’t make it any easier.

Big jingles for both Coreene & Willem

“Throw your heart over the fence and your horse will follow”

Jingle, jingle, jingle!!! Hope you feel better soon!

Good for you Willem! You have a tremendous attitude - that’s more than half the battle with any illness. I’m sure you’re going to pull through this and be just fine.

And I think those fancy shoes that LH offered would look really spiffy on your hoofies.

Herr Papa Willem Daddy,

Are you sick? <Duc’s lip is seen shaking and big tears are seen shining in his eyes>

Are your hoofes hurtie? Do you want me to ask Dr. Tim if he can help you? I will ask my Dr. Timwiththekindhandsandsoftvoice if he will help you. He makes everything better for me when my dummy Mom does things wrong, which is ALLTHETIME.

I am waving my special stick for you … can you see it? That’s because I am a yearling and don’t have a curb chain yet.

I am going to a horse convention this weekend andandandand if I get a butterfly I will send it STRAIGHT TO YOU AND YOUR FEETZ.

I loff you, Herr Papa Willem Daddy. Please don’t be sick ANYMORE.

(but you can call me Duc-ster)

Oh Willem, I’m jingling for you!

I’d be happy to ship some cinnamon ice cream & green apple sorbet out for you once you get better, but I think after all this, you should insist on an ice cream maker in your stall!

Hoping this morning brings good news…

Love to you, Coreene and Willem.

Jingles for the POSITIVE SIDE of 50% from…

Me: I don’t have a curb chain any more but I dug out an old snaffle and boy, does that make a sound when whacked on the doorjam.
Agedbayhunter: He’ll jingle the gate. (Let’s just hope he doesn’t jingle it open and go on one of his famous self-guided cross-country trips.) He says that he LOVES karroten tops better than karroten and to tell Willlem to try some of those.
The Beagle Bunch: Jingling license, rabies and microchip tags (three’s the charm, they tell me!) and sending arooooos to Willem.

And <<<HUGS>>> to you both from all of us.

JINGLEJANGLE* JINGLEJANGLE*

Willem - I loff you.
Coreene - I loff you too. Take care of that big handsome beastie and don’t forget to take care of yourself.

The jingling is going on practically non stop around here Coreene. I do wish I was close enough to give you a real hug, but here’s a virtual one, to give you strength.
