Woman Shot at Barisone Farm

Thanks for this, I didn’t know Nancy Grace had got into it. Will definitely have a listen.

I don’t know anything about how Venmo works. Is this somehow public knowledge?

Yes, it was posted earlier. But too far back to go find it.

Nancy Grace episode 22 seems to be something called “Martinis and Murder” from 2017, but I imagine I can find the correct one when I have the time.

LK is not out Tiara shopping! She is not yet in possession of the farm! That was the whole plan! After she realized that she couldn’t get the tiara from MB and that later MH took it with her, then she had to devise a way to get a tiara for herself some other way. In my previous post about details of GIA graded diamonds, it was clear to LK that she needed to gain possession of the farm in order to get one.

This is kind of stupid because if she can import all these horses and is of “unlimited means” then she should be able to buy a tiara. It isn’t that far to NYC from MB’s farm so she could easily go to Tiffany’s, Van Cleef & Arpels, etc. to go get one.

But she thought it would be more fun to steal something from someone in order to get the money to buy it some other way, like acquiring the farm and then charging a ridiculous dry stall rate in order to fund the tiara, diamond by diamond.
She thought it doesn’t create enough drama to just go buy something, it would be more entertaining to cause drama on the way to obtaining the same thing.

Venmo, i have recently discovered, is a) owned by paypal b) a better way to exchange money directly from your chosen fund account and ypu friends and family, abd c) also has a mastercard you can get very quickly to use anywhere as a self funded card that will automatcally fund itself from ypu bank or whatever any time you use ir. Thats venmo.

Yes. Its public. PayPal owns the company. Go to venmo.com to sign up

Question, can the general public see individuals payments on Venmo? I find that hard to believe. Or do you have inside knowledge? I have never used Venmo.

You can search by people name. You can’t see how much was paid. Some people use emojis too instead of writing out what they are paying for. People use it to pay for all sorts of stuff.

A bit??

There is a lot of talk in this thread that is rather stalker-y. Some posters sound like they are right at that barn and know every detail about what is going on and who is where, what they are doing etc. As I said in an earlier post, they feign innocence that they are just having a “discussion” but are far closer to participants and events than they are admitting…

Why is it stalker-y? I think it is only normal that people wonder about all this “side information” in lack of more details and constant rise of new theories with just a sparkle of new details (like the dog) here and there? And I, for one, am grateful to those who are a bit closer than the rest of us, to add their knowledge. I have a multitude of questions in my head. I understand why I probably don’t get an answer so I don’t bother even asking. But to call it “stalker-y” for wondering or accuse people of “feigning innocence” when they might not be at liberty to reveal their identity yet still provide “insider” information is just uncalled for. This is NOT an attack just an expression of MY opinion.

Venmo is great, and no it is not open to public review – the default setting is, but you can go in and change that to private. Venmo is like paypal “friends and family” though. No escrow account. If you accidentally send money to the wrong person, you are going to have to rely on the goodness in their hearts to send it back to you.

That said, I set up Venmo to draw from a credit card, so there is no direct access to my bank, and I only use venmo with professionals, or family. I do not use it for donating to gofundme, charity, or other small potato purchases.

The default setting is open to public review? That’s completely insane. I get that e transfer payments are a great tool, but something that puts your transactions out there online? Why would that even be a desirable feature?

That one feature will prevent me from ever signing up for Venmo.

I am a long long time PayPal customer so I won’t switch.

I find that feature weird as well. Maybe it was supposed to function as a feedback system? Even if there are no amounts shown why would I want people to know who I had paid?

Wiki has a long paragraph on this aspect of venmo. I was going to cut and paste but it is rather large.

So somebody here looked up LK’s Venmo acct to see who she’s sending money to? Doesn’t that seem a bit…over the top?

Yep.

Where’s the seafood spread?

I’ve got artichoke dip, 7 layer dip, and an antipasta platter for all to enjoy. Prosecco is the beverage of choice. Come and get it!!

I think smoofox mentioned this thread is getting a bit stalker-y. That is over the top.

Or some posters want their 5 minutes of fame along with LK. I get there is a lot of public stuff on line but to actively search every website that will have public information is really over the top. I mean, someone literally had the thought process “I wonder if she uses Venmo and if it’s public.”
