I’m not a lawyer so please help me out here. I don’t understand which side is going to care about your stories with regards to LK when this case goes to trial. So you worked for her and it was not a good experience for you (maybe not for her either, who knows). How exactly is that going to help MB get a lesser sentence for shooting her? To be fair, haleybot is by far not the first poster who thinks that her bad experiences with LK is somehow going to help MB’s defense. I just don’t understand this logic. Who can explain it to me?
Perhaps @haleybot means her court case, not the shooting. And if someone still owed me money, and they usually paid via an online program I’d leave that channel open.
You can use the ignore button if you don’t like the educational tidbits about the tiara, GIA diamond grading system, etc.
Where is the ignore button?
I think in pre 2016.
But she can’t block her if she wants to get paid for her work. That’s why they are friends on venmo, isn’t it? @haleybot
Except she says she is still waiting for her paycheck. Maybe it is through venmo.
Yep.
Everyone is kind of nit picking here, it’s whatever. This is a speculative thread. Not everyone’s flavor, and participation isn’t mandatory.

I somewhat agree with @Denali6298 that constantly checking in on LK’s social media is a bit much, but I can understand someone being so wronged by someone that they become borderline obsessed. I’m not saying that I can relate or agree with it, but I can just note where they may be coming from.
I can’t say what I’d do if wronged by LK, since I haven’t been in that situation, so I try not to judge Haleybot too much. I figure emotions are at play here and everyone makes their own decisions on how to handle their situations. Maybe not the route I’d choose to go, but again I’m not in her shoes.
I am, however, intrigued by this aforementioned article.

You, apparently. Instead of discussing the topic, you come onto the page discussing how people are talking about the topic. Whether or not they SHOULD talk about the topic. The moral implications of various people talking about the topic. and you just keep going on, and on, and on. Please knock it off. If you don’t want to read what people are discussing, leave, but please stop sabotaging other people’s conversations and criticizing posters for posting. And if Haleybot wants to keep her venmo account open for LK to finally make the last payment to her, even if she has to take her to court to get that payment, that’s her business. Venmo is a way to pay people money and get paid money. As much as you criticize people for discussing LK’s business, you sure do like to spend ALL your time discussing everyone else’s business.
It will be interesting to see if the Times comes up with any new information. That reporter rides and shows, so she should have a little better feel for the material than the local news sources.
You can’t because despite the option appearing it isn’t supported/functional. I tried.
This. Honestly, people who have been effed over by one of the parties coming on here and giving their info makes a lot more sense to me than the people who constantly have to critique them. That’s the mystifying bit. Why “nit pick” other posters? And go on and on about it? That is honestly the weirder of the two behaviors.
Haleybot, don’t let yourself be shut down by someone who isn’t even involved. She, like most of the rest of us, are just here for the sheer OMG of it all and the real crime story - trying to sort it all out. You actually have a connection to this whole affair. You have as much of a right as anyone - if not more - to comment here, not less. I only hope you didn’t give too much identifying information away. I would be very concerned for anyone who gets herself in this woman’s sights b/c the stuff we know without speculation that she has done is scary, scary stuff. I keep wondering what the story was behind the disappearance of the paid-for boyfriend.
Haleybot, personally, I like the chirping. Please do keep it up. And TheBlueSaddle as well. If I don’t like a post, I skip it, like I do Denali’s. After all, no one is making you read every post in this topic.
How I would handle a relationship with LK (which thankfully, I don’t have one of) is irrelevant. Everyone does things differently.
Agree. So many people seem to be letting this woman rent space in their heads and their lives. When I have a toxic person in my life I do whatever I can to remove them. I block them on social media, I change my privacy settings so that only friends can see what I do. I don’t check their profiles and report back to others every little thing they do. I honestly just pretend they don’t exist and enjoy a much more peaceful life myself because of it.
I suspect LK’s pattern of behavior will be on trial as much as MB’s actions when this finally goes to trial. Her actions and behavior toward MB and MH is nothing new and has been repeated many times, obviously with different outcomes. The kicker in this event is the involvement of two innocent children and the false allegations made about MB’s interactions with those children. So, yes, ALL of LK and MB’s previous history will be fair game for both the DA and MB’s attorney.
I think some of you guys think that Venmo is like another Facebook. It’s not. You don’t see how much anyone paid anyone else. You don’t even have to actively search out and friend someone to see their activities - they’ll show up if they’re a contact in your phone or a friend on another social media platform. All you can see is that they’re paying or being paid. Amounts don’t show up. It’s not the massive invasion of privacy some think it is.
She got shot, she will have to deal with the fallout from that psychologically and physically the rest of her life. Would some of these people only be happy if she had died or if they could have pulled the trigger themselves? One person actually said online they would celebrate her death. Commenting on their comments is relative as they are saying their bad experiences with her somehow justifies MB shooting her.
Is this a forum open to discussion on the shooting of LK or only for the “I hate LK” group?
Dragonfly: this is getting old. Everyone, even if they personally know and hate her, has said over and over that she didn’t deserve to get shot. Just drop that. It’s not only a cheap shot, it’s disingenuous and at this point has been done to death.
It’s complicated. LK is both victim and perpetrator. She was shot (badbadnotgood). She has also harassed, threatened, ridiculed, and cheated people (badbadnotgood). She has put more negative sh@1 out on the internet (where is stays forever and ever) than most people have put out in total. She has a “colourful” rap sheet even if no convictions. It certainly wasn’t for lack of trying.
Her getting shot doesn’t redeem her. It doesn’t make up for her past behaviour nor for the repulsive stuff she is CURRENTLY doing to people. Again, for the cheap seats: sometimes bad things happen to bad people. It doesn’t magically make them good people.
If you’re so concerned, please explain how you feel about her recent posts on RC’s facebook (complete with f-bombs). How you feel about the taunting, threatening messages to other people who were at that barn hinting at (illegal in the State of New Jersey) recordings of their conversations. The reports or threats of reports to SS for behavior not relevant to the safety of minors in sport. Honestly, I would like to know how you square that current, post-shooting behaviour with your presentation of her as nothing but a hapless victim.
I actually believe it is open to “discussion”. I honestly have read few “I hate LK” posts on this thread but lots of discussion about her negative behavior and refusal to leave MB’S property along with the false allegations to SS and CPS. By all means let’s discuss positive attributes of LK in this situation. You go first @Dragonfly90!
You would have to be friends with RC on FB to see those. They are not publicly visible.
