Woman Shot at Barisone Farm

[QUOTE=Brown Derby;n10487050]
One person seeking to engage with LK is Sarah Maslin Nir. She has messaged LK via LK’s Insta account. Nir has outstanding reporting and horse scene credibility. I look forward to reading her perspective on the incident.

YES! We all do!!

Nir has outstanding reporting and horse scene credibility.

That’s something I want to see also!

This.

Plus, how stupid do you think LK is? She can likely figure out who someone is by what they are sharing and how she and that person interacted. So if one does not want to personally incur her wrath, stop being so bloody obvious!

If I had real concerns about her wrath being directed at me, I would not engage (or maybe the intent is to do exactly that) and I would not be merrily chirping all over a thread about her.

That is obviously not an issue (based on her posts) for @haleybot - so chirp away.

The only way to mininize the harm Lauren can do to others in the future is to share what she has done in the past.

Hence the discussion. It won’t completely stop or change her behavior, but it may lead to her being called out on it immediately when it starts and people cutting their losses sooner rather than later. Or demanding a security deposit and board/training payment up front and no long-term legal entanglements.

At best, she is capricious, immature and vindictive. At worst, she may qualify for an Axis II diagnosis. Either way, she is a liability in one’s business and personal life and at 38 years of age it will be incredibly difficult for her to change her habits of thoughts and behavior even if she wishes to do so.

@MorganSercu I don’t think anyone disagrees with that. Eye brows get raised when posters are constantly checking her FB page, have gotten her charged with cyberstalking yet is still “friends” on Venmo, and the dissection of every single post down to the minutia. Those patterns start to make people look obsessed and liking the drama. Those posters seem to thrive off the drama as much as LK. It’s one thing to say yep, chick is crazy, here’s why. Or to correct whatever reality she’s trying to spin. It’s entirely something else to be monitoring all social media platforms and internet connections and post them here. Never mind “the blue saddle” which was funny for a couple of posts on the original thread as “the saddle” but is just plain weird here. YMMV.

Just FYI, Venmo is kinda set for people to send money to friends and family, like paying them back for stuff, and to share what they sent money for. It’s kind of like how people used to post what they had for dinner or whatever. I don’t use it much, but I will see things from my friends to other people like “Payback for coffee!” or “dinner” or things like that. It’s really not any more stalker-y than looking up someone’s page on Facebook or IG, if they WANTED to keep things private they would. You typically wouldn’t pay bills or anything with it, though some professionals like to use it because it’s easy and doesn’t make you pay a fee. It’s just another way people like to share their goings-on with the rest of the world.

Nir’s article will be published and there will be a frenzy of posts for a few weeks after. By that time the 90 day limit will be reached and formal charges will be filed by the DA and shared with MB’s attorney which will be followed by a few more weeks of speculative posts just in time for the holidays. Then all of this will fade away until the trial. Unless something else pops up!

Exactly right - well said.

I’m not constantly checking her fb page. Yes, I have charges pending against her for cyberbullying. Yes, still “friends” on venmo. Still waiting to get paid for my last 10 days of work from her. I know SO much dirt but this isn’t the venue for it. I will be happy to discuss it ALL in court. If I had come on her spouting all sorts of stuff about her then I would be the one accused of cyberbullying/defamation of character. I cannot wait to read Sarah Nir’s article! I think it will be incredibly revealing and show a pattern of behavior that pretty much everyone has seen at this point. I’m perfectly fine not chirping up anymore.

You’re not wrong. However if I got to the point to go to police for cyber stalking I would have blocked them from Venmo and not made it obvious who I was on a BB. Just me though. I don’t like drama in my life. To each their own

I would assume Ms Nir reached out to LK for comment. It will be very interesting to see if LK attacks her and threatens to sue her and the NYT, as she has threatened so many others.

But can you block the feed from happening. It looks like you just get a feed of everyone you have had an interaction with?

You can block people regardless of prior transactions. So you can not see the feed of specific people like Facebook. Speaks volumes about haleybot

Oh good heavens.

Hence my reaction to the nit picking. Who has time for that?

I think of it more as “keep your friends close and your enemies closer”. Or watching your back? If she had stalked and bullied me the way she is apparently capable of, I would totally be keeping tabs on her! Especially if I, as apparently haleybot does, knew first hand how she operates.

Well, it appears that you do, to be fair.

I wouldn’t because that would diminish my case. If I did I wouldn’t be blasting it all over the internet. But I don’t like that kinda drama like some people
