Fuller Filly Boots – Really Back ordered :frowning:

Just received this e-mail from SmartPak – Out of Stock Item “Fuller Filly Boots” has been delayed and is now expected by May 28, 2010…"

I hope when I finally receive these boots they are worth it. We all knew they would be big sellers, but to be sold out in a week and back ordered for 3 months?

THEY’RE HERE THEY’RE HERE THEY’RE HERE!!!

My Fuller Fillies checkmate breeches that I ordered last week from The Curvy Cowgirl arrived!

I got the blue/black check and the brown/black check.

They are divine. I can’t wait to try them on tonight and can’t wait to ride in them.

I LOVE THEM.

They are DIVINE, and I never thought I’d say this about plaid and plus sizes in the same breath, but they are very slimming! And the fabric is perfect for summer. Full marks, ladies, you’ll love them.

They are MY FAVORITES!! I always feel like “trouble” when I wear them…

[edit]

Herringbone Fuller Fillies!

I liked the Checkmate ones so much I ordered two more pair from The Curvy Cowgirl, and Apryl said she also had these To Die For brown herringbone full seats; the full seat is brown. GORGEOUS, that’s on my list for the next purchase!

Chaps, Chaps, half Chaps

This winter I bought the Fuller Fillies Faux Suede Chaps. I LOVE them except they are lined with some sort of plastic or whatever… so my legs really sweat when it gets warm… So, i ordered the Tredsteps that were all suede, well, the size I wear in FF 17/15 do NOT translate to Tredsteps… Grrrrr… and Tredsteps do not offer 18 inch calves… So now WHAT??? I need half chaps for 18/15… Any suggestions? I do need complete suede so my calves can breathe??? OK, maybe the FFwill "sweat my calves down??? NOT!!!

:no::no:

Take a look at Pro Chaps. They have the measurements you are looking for.

These are really sharp half chaps

I love the German HKM brand, have some of their jackets and pads.

These are nice smooth half chaps, 16 1/2" calf (if you have a problem zipping, just pull them up), and what I really like about them is they don’t have that stovepipe shape so many plus-sized half chaps seem to have.

Plus Sized Quilted Vests for 21.99

I just bought 2 of them.
They’re great quality and come in black, chocolate, khaki beige, yellow, fuchsia.
Available in 1X and 2X.

You do know that faux suede IS plastic? And, of course, being synthetic and probably not breathable, could well make you perspire underneath.

“Faux” is a French word meaning fake, imitation. Manufacturers use it, hoping people don’t know what it means. Took me a while to catch on; i ewondered what those fancy-sounding “fox” pearls were…

I can’t make myself dig through this whole thread again, so maybe I can get some suggestions from you guys.

I’m looking for a suggestion for a dressage coat- nothing expensive, maybe under $150. I event, so I’ll end up wearing it in stadium, too, so something with some stretch would be nice! I wear a 16-18 in normal people sizes, I think my current coat is a 24 and its too big!

Anyone have any suggestions?

ec–check out the collection online store.

RJ Classics has a couple of very nice, affordable dressage frocks. Robin will not steer you wrong.

Somantu… only yellow and fuscia left, sadly…

I’m a vest ho. At least I admit it.

epona: Like pinto said, check out Robin here http://www.thecollectiononlinestore.com/dressagecoats.html

Definitely two thumbs up for service and selection.

Check the “specials” and even try emailing her, I got an awesome deal on a navy pinstripe hunt coat awhile back after emailing her and telling her what I needed (it wasn’t online at the time). Nice jacket. I even wear it for dressage shows and have had nothing but compliments about it. Robin is great!

These are nice half chaps for a decent price.

They don’t seem to have any in stock at the moment but you can keep them in mind.

Maryland Saddlery. Click on plus size link. The line of coats by Wellington are in your price range and quite nice. Very breathable. Customer service is excellent.

Just popping in to say, just got a new pair of FS breeches from breech depot, and love them!

They’re the “Albrighton” Dressage Breech
and they go up to 36. They are not transparent-thin, they have a nice supportive waistband, and have a black seat. I’m quite pleased, and all for the low price of $89!

Plus, they were very responsive to my pleas to expedite the shipment so I could get these in time for a show this weekend…thanks breech depot!~!

I have these and I love them! They actually run a little big to me, but the top has a Velcro piece so you can make them tighter if you need to.

Boots

I know there is no advertising allowed, but I tried on a pair of Vogels that someone I know has for sale and they didn’t fit me. They might fit someone else here. They fit my monster calves, but were to big in the foot. They have like a 17.75" calf and a 9.5-10 wider foot. They are brand new Fieldmasters (they have been ridden in once and then she got out of riding) Wish they fit me! Anyway, let me know if you want her email address. Sorry for the plug, but it’s SO hard to find nice boots.
