My Fuller Fillies checkmate breeches in the black/brown houndstooth (or was that herringbone?) arrived. I will confess to now owning five pair of checkmate Fuller Fillies breeches.
All of this is because Some People I Know are e-n-a-b-l-e-r-s.

Aren’t they awesome!

Oh girl, didn’t you hear me shriek with joy? Looooooove them. And if you need dressage show breeches, they make them in the same fabric as the checkmates in white, which is fabulous because the fabric just works better than regular stretchy breeches on, say, those of the Abbondanza Persuasion.
ALERT ALERT: I just saw on COTH classifieds that there are two plus jackets for a great price!
Looking for plus size western show clothes that truly fit. Any suggestions?
WW and Coreene, are the Fuller Fillies breeches more for an apple shape or pear? I’ve got a rather small waist and all of my weight in my butt and thighs, and too often end up with clown pants when I get something that fits my butt/legs.
Half chaps
For whoever was looking for 1/2 chaps. These are very generously sized.

I am pretty short legged and can still wear them. They are a little tall but are soft enough that that don’t bother the backs of my knee. I have 17 inch calfs and the XL are now a little too big. I am going to try larges. (I bought the XL when I was 25 lbs heavier).
They have held up well especially for the price.
Hobby Horse has a nice line of western wear.

If nothing else they’ll show you whats in style for the breed shows. Then you can go to the close out section of your local dept store and find something cheap that you can bedazzle yourself.
My best advice to you is, call and talk to the delightful Mother/ Daughter Duo that is Curvy Cowgirl :http://www.thecurvycowgirl.com/
They can get you into the breech that would be the best for your body type.
So impressed with these ladies, and their wonderful line of clothing for, those of us, now how did Coreen put it, of the “Abbondanza Persuasion”
Unfortunately they make their plus sizes the same as lots of others – wider through the body but not longer or proportional through out the entire garmet. Makes it hard when you’re 5’8" or taller.
Hi Everyone,
I noticed Equine Couture has a large selection of casual tops in sizes 1X-3X on SmartPak and Equestrian Collections. I have two casual schoolig tops by Irideon, fit OK, but I wished I had a little more room in the sleeves (width of course).
Anyone try these schooling tops? Any recommendation for good fitting schooling shirt. I am kind of tired of wearing old T-shirts when I ride and also would like some nice shirts when I take my young boy off property to school. Thanks!
BTW – still waiting on my Fuller Fillie boots from SmartPak. Hoping for the end of May
has anyone tried the new mountain horse venice boots on? they have a elastic panel in the back. we dont have them in ontario yet…
got some plaid guller fillies and love love love them!!! and get soo many compliments
I got the Fuller Fillies Vixen coat!
It will be the new blazer with jeans, just DIVINE and the pink lining and lovely brown, oooooooh I just love it! I got a screaming pink pashmina scarf to go with it, same shade as the lining. A few friends in England show in them (they are after all show coats) and the look just so fabulous!
Fuller Fillies Field Boots
Feedback? Height is only 17". Will this be the actual height after the drop? Do you know if they have spur rests?
Finally got to try some Fuller Fillies! At The Curvy Cowgirl. They have these plaid breeches that are to die for (I’m sure Coreene or someone already talked about them and I missed it) and make you look skinny. And the full seats fit over my cows! And they have half chaps that fit me and look great! I’ve died and gone to heaven. I don’t know how I’m going to pay for all this stuff that I NEED.
Met Apryl and Lauren (I think?). Awesome, sweet ladies. While I was there, a woman came in and was so happy about the clothes she was almost in tears. How cool is that?
Jenn, meeting you was one of the best parts of the Expo!
I got the FF MyShell jacket in blue/black, it goes with the brown/black and blue/black Checkmate breeches. They have the half chaps in regular width as well - BBer Mypaintwattie (who wears an XS and a 26 breech) got those in the short height and they look so sharp. We had breakfast with Apryl and Lauren at 7 this morning, we were on the road an hour later and back at the barn by 5 - it’s 20 degrees cooler here, thank goodness!

I LOVE the chaps- they are so comfortable! Apryl and Lauren are wonderful, I wish some of the fuller fillies clothing came in my size!

You’re so sweet. I loved visiting with you! Sounds like you made out like a bandit…I’ll have to build my collection a little more slowly!
Iagree keep this thread going.
It has been going for nearly four years and lots of us are good friends IRL too, so I doubt we’ll have a problem keeping it rolling along.
