I wish Irideon made the boot cut tights in plus sizes. I have the Equissentials, and love love love them, but they are a little cost prohibitive for me right now, and I need another pair.

Hey guys i got a pair of irideon cadence from ebay and am soo happy!! they are so comfy i think i shall convert to them entirely!
i got 1x and they fit snug(like not unflattering or cut of my circulation snug) but not uncomfy should I get a 2x when i buy a pair for shows so that they are looser?
Big kudos to Robin at The Collection!! My “womanly” show breeches arrived and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them! :D:D (can you tell I watch SATC a lot?)
They are the loveliest shade of puke green :winkgrin: and look just like a pair of TS breeches. The fabric is 4-way stretch and super comfy. They are even washable.
THUMBS UP ROBIN!!! Plus she doesn’t charge as much as the other places do.

I have a question.
Anyone stretched tall boots out enough to fit their calves? Mine are 18" at the widest point and I am very close to purchasing a nice used pair that measure 17". No zipper, so I could very well have them modified but I don’t know if it would be in time for my show. What do you think?

I was just going to post this!! I ordered 2 pairs also
I just ordered my new boots. I couldn’t take squeezing my one calf into the boots anymore. I order 2+ calf and even if they are a bit big I will still have room for socks. I just am tired of my leg hurting.
What boots did you decide on?

Victory Field boots. If they don’t fit I most likely will have to get custom. I am very hopeful these will work. IF I had .5 inch more in the boots I have now they would be perfect. What stinks is that my left calf fits in the boots I have now without even using a boot pull.
Hopefully they look pretty much the same as your old boots–then you can ride in one of each, to fit each leg better. :lol:

I find the full seats run pretty true to size. The knee patch have a little more room in the seat/thighs but the material is very clingy so I usually use wear the same size in both.

just got a pair of Kerrits micro cord knee patch tights. very forgiving, true to size, BUT because they are “ribbed” so u get that unpleasant rubbing noise when u walk from the cords on ur thigh rubbing :no::eek:!! but in the saddle thats not really an issue is it? also bought a pair of the Kerrits full seat griptek breeches, not sure if they’ll be TOO sticky or not!! but they were only $42 with free shinpping!!! i told my friend that rides mostly dressage that if they are too sticky for me shes getting them for x-mas!!! i’ll report back when i get them and ride in them. i went up a size from my norm because i hate my full seats to be too snug, we’ll see!!
I posted a new thread, last night, in reference to the new “large size” Show Circuit side zip breeches that I just got from The Collection. Robin had the same company that makes them for Equestrian Collections make them for her and the price is far less. I got a pair of 38’s and love them, she has 40, too. She has asked them to make 42, as well, they are beautiful, I got lots of compliments (I will admit that it made my day when I got asked if I had lost weight).

Isn’t it wonderful how a pair of well-fitting pants can help the appearance versus having to shove ourselves into a smaller one! I got a pair of the 38s myself and have been feeling much better about venturing out to the show ring!
