It struck me that some people might be interested in this website. I bought my first pair of riding tights there and they are very nice to deal with. Although it has a lot of products for therapeutic riding, it also has some interesting things like portable stirrup extenders that you can take with you on the trail so that those of us that are height challenged can mount up again if we have to get off (I would love to get some of those).
PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!

And Aunt Esther would have kicked my ass if I didn’t share the info!

I noticed Muck Boots have a new tall riding boot out called Colt Rider:

Looks like the old Brit Rider (which they replace) but with more flexibility in the ankles and heels. Wish I hadn’t just bought my Brit Riders last year! The Muck Boot line fits wide calves very well. My calves are a tad over 18" and the Brit Riders are very comfortable and are very warm to boot, ha ha.
I was about to asking you if they were REALLY warm… then noticed you were in canada, and I’m TN… I think they’ll PROBABLY work. Do they have good longevity?
Welcome, SimplyRed! I actually ride a small Arab. We get along quite well (I LOFF her and I think she doesn’t mind me too much), although I’m trying to lose weight to make her life a little easier. They’re strong little buggers, though!

I HATE Dover!!
For years I have been wearing the Devon-Aire Versailles breeches. I love them! I decided to get a pair of black (slimming ;=)… They no longer carry anything over a 34R and I need a 36R!!! End of Rant…
I tried to google and find them in my size but to no avail! I refuse to go back to Dover unless it is absolutely necessary!!! Grrrrrrr…:sigh:

Haven’t worn them long so I can’t say about the longevity. People I know who have Muck Boots for chores love them, though.

Andrew <3 Tank
And after that, another womanly sized rider checking in. Somewhere in this thread someone had to address the issues of big boobs, right? lol (please say yes)
I’d love a draftie or draft cross, but my crappy reconstructed knees say “no way!”
Awwwww. Everyone loffs Tank!
To control the girls: http://www.titlenine.com/jump.jsp?itemType=CATEGORY&itemID=676

And when you’re not riding, Wacoal Minimizer Bras Are Your Friends. FABULOUS.

I just ordered them. THANK YOU!!!
I ordered the TOTD harry hall britches. and loff them. but beware they seem to run big. I cant tell yet if Im happy or sad to not really fit the 36’s, well they fit but are a little loose. If anyone got 34’s and want to swap PM me!
correction -they are the Horseware Tallyho Carla. They are thick- nicely disguising any lumpy thigh situation. Does anyone know if the skin tight boots can be stretched to fit over them ? Im thinking of the dread soaking method- but I cant get the boots zipped over them at this point, without some other measures taken.
