Womanly-sized riders, unite!

Just a warning- I ordered a pair of Ariat full-seats in size 36, and they arrived with a 32" waist- I think their sizing is… variable!

I have two show shirts that are size 38. I have been trying to sell them on the bits and barter board, but no luck. You can have them if you pay for shipping. They are clean, but wrinkled since they have not been ironed. Both are long sleeved, one is white, one is light blue with a pink plaid pattern.

Let me know if you want one or both. I can easily put them in a mailing envelope and send them out.

For breeches, I would try on the Ariats. I have them in the regular rise size 36 and they fit good. I suppose it depends on how you are built.[/QUOTE]
Do you happen to have a picture of the blue one? (:

You’re welcome to exchange information on general fit of different product lines, etc., but the no-advertising rules from the rest of the forum apply in this thread as well.

A couple of folks have referred to Tropical Riders doing custom fit breeches, but there is nothing on their website that even hints at that… Is it true that they offer them, is it something you have to meet up with them at a show for? What’s the deal?

TOTD has Grip Bums for only $58 up to a size 40L!!!

Also, some Arete tall boot chaps in Short sizes for only $44.95. They have some brown suede chaps listed on eBay too.

That’s unfortunate… I was looking forward to getting some of theirs as I drop some weight. I don’t have any stores that carry them around me, so maybe I’ll have to wait until I visit my mom in California over Christmas…

Horka doesn’t have any US retailers listed on their web site. Did you buy them in the States or from overseas?[U]

The Issentials are roomy and comfortable. The Cadence run truer to size, not as much stretch. I agree through, their winter breeches need some altering in the sizing… Next time look into Smooth Stride winter pants. They do a winter version of their Trail Rider Ultra pants that fit truer to size and are very comfy. The summer weight pants are very forgiving! I normally wear a 3X in Irideons and the XL in the trail pants are roomy!!!

There’s a poster here who is selling them, I think these are them:

NEED tall boots! D:

I have a show coming up on the 28th and I’m desperate for tall boots. Does anyone have or know of [ebay, friends, craigslist, ect.] any field boots for sale that fit a 17 1/2- 18 inch calf? I’m putting off ordering new boots but If I HAVE to, I’m leaning towards Devon Aire Nouvelle’s…

What size shoe do you need? If it’s a 9.5-10M, PM me ;).

I have the same problem & have been researching it. Here are the boots that I’ve found that “should” fit:

Devon Aire Nouvelle #245

Camden Zip back Field boot (up to 17 1/2" calf)

Nittany Field boots (only up to 17 5/8")

Treadstone field boots (up to 18")

If anyone has any used hunt boots size 8 or 8 1/2 (with 17 1/2" + calf) let me know!

Some good finds on eBay!

3X Fuzzy Logic summer weight pants. These are VERY nice and I would snap them up myself, but I need along inseam (these are 30" inseam).

Thanks for the info, luvs2ride79. I’d been holding out buying more Irideons because the winter ones fit so snugly. I’ll have to check out the others!

Mens Breeches

I really want a pair of the Devon Aire cool cotton breeches in white and can only find them in men’s sizes. Has anyone tried men’s breeches? I imagine the size is the same (I take a 36 in women’s), but I would think the length is longer (I am barely 5’1")… I am willing to have them shortened, but am just wondering before i buy, if ANYONE has tried this?
TIA.

PS I will not buy full seats…

Me too! But I bought them on TOTD so I am stuck with them - lose weight or sell on ebay… Bummer!!! Those Europeans must be awful small!!!

LOL, me too, I bought them during VTO’s sale. Oh, well, 'tis the price of ordering online!

I am expecting a pair of Harry Halls tomorrow- I hope those don’t run small, all they had was 34s.

Since they ride a little lower and don’t flare out for the hips, they won’t work for you if you have a real waist.

For the fluffier riders, Fuller Fillies is adding to their line!

In more ways than one…
Fuller Fillies just got BIGGER!
Thank you to those of you who took the time to answer our recent survey…we are searching the land for the lady who claimed she was 5’3’’ with an inside leg of 54 inches and a waist of 29 inches - if you see her, please let me know!

One message came across loud and clear Ladies - hundreds of you wanted a bigger size in legwear…

You asked, we answered; from 1st September this year we will be phasing in a new size 40" in all legwear; our timetable is:

1st September 2009

Puppi Jods in Black, Navy and Bitter Chocolate

Checkmates Breeches new colours

Jean Genie and Bootleg Jean Genie Jods

1st February 2010

All other Puppi colours (including new ones)

ShowPro Breeches

From theronin ALL Fuller Fillies’ new legwear will be available in 40" so for our sisters who are still finding our gorgeous jods and breeches a bit of a squeeze - you can breathe again girls!

Oh and, in case I forget; we have added an elasticated panel to the thigh of the ToastiDri to allow more room so there shouldn’t be anyone riding with wet legs this winter - well, unless you just heard a good joke, or are incontinent, or -well, you work it out!
