25 minutes after it opens and they’re sold out–only 24’s left haha! And one minute later, those are gone as well :stuck_out_tongue:

Neat site, I wish they shipped to Canada

:lol::lol::lol: Supply and demand, eh?

One minute later and they are ALL sold out. Harry Hall is one of my absolute favorite brands for fit and durability.

Blehh. I had my first show last month and had to buy On Course breeches that were a size small [36] and were a LONG and I’m a regular or short so they went up to my armpits and I found a picture and there was a huge ROLL because they went up so high! I MIGHTT be showing this weekend, [or my sister is, we haven’t decided] and I need help with my breeches. Either I have a roll, or I have sag-crotch. Any help? D:

[we bought them the day before my show, so it was that or my schooling breeches.]

There’s a pair of size 38]tan Fuller Fillies breeches in the clearance section in Smartpak for $25 dollars! I went yesterday and they were there so they’re probably still there!

We must have been in the store at the same time:lol:. The breeches are now at my house;). There was a pair of full seats up there too.

Haha. I ALMOSTTT got them, but my sister was supposed to be showing and doesn’t have anything but her boots so we had to get her stuff. Send them over if you ever get tired of them. :D;)

I also discovered that the horse in the bathroom mural, on the far left looks JUST like my boy!

Curse You Tack of the Day!!!

I really, really wanted some of those breeches. I got all excited about them and then got to the bottom of the page…sold out! Bitter, yeah just a bit. Love my Harry Halls.

Toklat has a pair (or a few, not sure) of Irideon thermal leggings/breeches in a 3x on for 26$ in ice blue on their website’s clearance section:
http://www.toklat.com/dyn_prod.php?p=30-4171&k=82209

and more of them in various sizes (up to 3x) for 31$
http://www.toklat.com/dyn_prod.php?p=30-4371&k=82209

I’d buy some if I was ready to face the fact that winter is coming in a few months…

Does anyone know if these fit similarly to Irideon Issentials?

If the Irideon thermal leggings are the sames ones I have (mine are two or three years old), they are generously sized. Mine have a lot of stretch to them, and I could use a smaller size. I wear them under jeans in the winter, and they are very comfortable. I sometimes wear them around the house, like sweatpants or pajama bottoms because they are so soft.

Has anybody bought the Goode Rider show shirt from Dover? It looks similar to the Kerrits ventilator shirts, but costs about $15 more. I do like the olive color though…It comes in 1X, 2X, and 3X (thank you Dover).

I got my new Practical Horseman yesterday, and saw an ad for wide-calf boots. How nice to see that in a well-read publication!

ThreeHorseNight- do you know the brand? I haven’t recieved my PH mag yet and desperate to find boots…

In the meantime- I am looking at the Mountain Horse Richmond (formerly Calibier Boots) and saw on the MH Usa website it should fit my calfs but then I go on the Canada one and the orginal M.H website- the measurements don’t match up… grrrr…

On the MH Canadian Source- I noticed the Classic High rider boots- had the measurements for calf size which was a bonus, but of course, when I contacted the store if they had the boots- of course, they did and when I asked about the calf size- its two inches smaller than what the MH website said!

So lost, confused and fustrated here, I was hoping to do this via mail order but I am thinking I am going to have to drive down… you can drive one day in 16 hours right? (8 there, 8 back) (Would have to leave around 4 to be there at 11 and then try on the boots and hit the highway by 2ish…

Debating on ordering both the Richmond and the Classic to see which one fits best and just return whatever doesn’t (hoping that at least one does!)

Anyone buy the Devon Aire Nouvelle Boots that has the XXW calf size (apparently up to 18") http://equusunlimited.com/index1.html? Would this be my better bet?

Don’t really want to go customs (not enough time- need these boots by August 10th), fed up with half chaps (they keep sliding down - which I know means they are too big but I can’t keep replacing them when they are slightly loose- I’ve even resorted to using vet wrap around my calf then zipping my half chaps up to keep them up when I am riding )

Any tips or ideas ?

FIC
P.S. I read through the ENTIRE thread! Heck of a read! But oh so helpful for the other stuff… You guys are AMAZING!

Oops- it’d be helpful right- if I said the calf size I was looking for- need at least 18" but I think I could get away with 17.3 which is what the M.H one has… depending on who’s right and wrong…

The boots being advertised in PH are Equitector – www.equitector.com

The ad says boots and chaps from 13" to 19" calf, and made to measure available.

I have a pair of pair of older Mountain Horse boots (I think they are the High Rider model) and the calf is very generous. The foot is very comfortable, although definitely clunkier than a traditional boot. I also have a pair of boots that I think are the Devon Aire Nouvelle back zip field boots. They are definitely very stiff in the foot (and the leg too) and honestly, because I haven’t been showing, I haven’t even gone to the trouble of breaking them in – I’ve just been wearing the Mountain Horse boots. If you can break in the Devon Aire’s (I assume they get a little softer, they aren’t the greatest quality leather but are good for the price) they might be a good deal for now and you can upgrade later.

Maybe you can find some places that have free shipping or just order several pairs of boots by mail and send back what doesn’t work? You’d have to pay the return shipping, obviously.

 I have googled all over and cannot find ONE place that has the DevonAire Nouvelles in XXW. Do they have the spanish top? TIA…

I love this thread! I am trying to find a white show shirt and purchased an RJ Classics Essential but it is way too tight. I don’t think I can have it let out. I am a 38 and pretty womanly ;)so I ordered the shirt in a 42 thinking I can have it tailored… well my plan was flawed. Any suggestions where I can get a nice shirt that fits? Thanks!

Elaine

I have the Equitectors. They are on their third year now and I ride in them practically every day, year round. I will probably need a new pair next year for showing, however, as they are starting to look a little worn.

They are very comfortable. I really appreciate the steel-toed feature. My calves are a little over 18 inches.

The one down side to them is Canada Customs charges you an arm and a leg for the import duties. I think the duties ran about $175 Canadian.

I think they took a couple of weeks to get here, however, since they come from the UK.

The Equitector’s were impossible to order through their weird ordering system. It kept on telling me I needed to order customs when I wanted the off the rack boots and my measurements fit. But they ask you to put in all these detailed measurement to order a pair of off the rack boots. I just want to click and buy.
