The Equitector’s were impossible to order through their weird ordering system. It kept on telling me I needed to order customs when I wanted the off the rack boots and my measurements fit. But they ask you to put in all these detailed measurement to order a pair of off the rack boots. I just want to click and buy.[/QUOTE]
Try:
http://www.equitector.com/longriding.cfm
They provide the size tables and you can click and buy normally at the bottom of the page.

I checked a UK-US shoe conversion chart and UK 8 equals a US 10.5, so a UK 9 should fit you. I’d go through the size checker on the top right of the home page. Pick foot size, they when you click on the US flag, they will first ask you what size you take in the US.
Bless you!

No this just puts you through to the size checker. Even when I put in the exact measurement indicated on the size chart it tells me I need customs. If you know a trick let me know but to be honest I’m not sure I want to buy from a company that makes something so simple so complicated

I don’t understand the problem–I assume you saw the manual size tables on the middle right of the page (not the one with the pictogramme of the foot but underneath that)… when I click on it I get a list of sizes with the specs in inches or centimetres. Not sure what you’re getting.
I agree that the website is complicated. You could try emailing them.
Anyone know of a good place (cheap) to buy Ariat paddock boots with free shipping?
My zipper just broke in the ones I have now. I do not want zipper ones again!!

Here you go:
I recently got a pair of custom equitector’s- while the quality is fine (not like Petries, but they didn’t cost as much as Petries!) I think my measurements were off and the boots are too short! But otherwise they would have worked out great. I’m going to put them up on Ebay to sell them- which makes me so sad! So I’m back at square one again! If anyone has any other suggestions for wide-calved boots, I’d love to hear it!
I found it interesting they don’t give calf sizes - I need at least an 18…

Thanks I know where the size chart is thats not the problem. When you order you chose the color and the size you want and then you click through now this is where it gets complicated. You have to put in measurements for your foot length and then foot shape and then on the next page you have to enter 4 values for the calf length just to order off the rack boots now everytime I do this it tells me I need customs.
Try doing a pretend order and see what I mean its not like most websites…

But they are Field Boots…
Plus Size Clothing and Boots that will not break the bank
I have found two great places for show clothing for plus size, and they will not break the bank. Smartpak is carrying a whole line for fuller figures called fuller fillies. There quality and price are outstanding. I really like the show shirts. For boots I found a company called ridersmalls.com. I can get a pair of feild boots or dress boots for $240 off the rack and they go up to size 20 5/8 on the calf. They are good quality and resonable. I was happy to find a place that carried boots my size without haveing to go completely custom. Hope this helps some of you.
Ridersmall.com is Hispar for those who may see that site and think it is a new boot. Fuller Fillies at SmartPak in part because of this thread.

Yes, in retrospect (sorry), I seem to remember that I decided what size I needed, then I went back through the size checker and put in the values that I thought would work for that size (after measuring myself) and bingo, I was checked out. But I wanted those boots really badly so I guess all this figuring didn’t bother me much since I have forgotten all about it.
In short, I would contact them by email.
arggghhh!!! mad:
I got my boots yesterday and they don’t fit!!:no::mad:
Too tight by the lower bulge of muscle on my calf. The one part of my body that doesn’t have fat on it is my calves & now I have this problem. ARRRGHHHHH!!!
I might be able to make them work, I could probably zip them up but I wasn’t wearing tall socks or breeches. I didn’t want to zip up my skin. Does anyone have any suggestions on stretching boots? Or should I bring them to a shoe repair shop & see if he can extend the gussets (right now they are just the top 3-4"…maybe it could go down a bit more?). What do y’all think?
Oh I hate that. My pet peeves with larger calf boots is a)too big in the ankle and b) they don’t get wide enough soon enough.
Also the boots you get at riders mall you can get a lot cheaper by buying them through the company on ebay
