They will stretch when you wear them- if they are a little tight around the thickest part now, they will probably be about right when you break them in and they drop a bit.
Mine felt REALLY tight when I got them and now I am taking them in to have them made smaller at the top!

Cool, I got a really good deal on them & I think that they will fit better after they drop from breaking in. I haven’t had to break in a pair of tall boots in 10 years…looks like I have a fun job ahead of me :lol:
LOL, I got a deal on mine too- I dropped them off this morning, and am officially paying more to have them altered than I paid for the boots themselves (but a lot less than custom boots!
I never use the zippers, I use boot pulls. Lots of times if you can’t get them on with zippers, you can pull 'em on just fine.
Is there anyplace that sells really cheap breeches? I have a show next weekend and my breeches are a bit small[36’s…I think I might need a 38. They fit, but they’re a little tight] and they’re a tall! If anything, I need a short, so these go pretty high up. :lol: I need a cheap new pair for this weekend that won’t empty my hurting wallet!

I would have to assume 40" bust…
If you do a search here on COTH, you can read all the horror stories of wretched customer service, extremely long waits for an order to be shipped, delays in credited back credit cards for returns, etc.
